The Napoleonic coinage of Italy is full of varieties, overdates, recut dies between mints etc, plus the reference books generally do not agree with one another or use the same terminology!
Like an idiot I thought I would try and sort it all out and just keep finding more and more unrecorded varieties, and mint state coins are not common either which makes things even more difficult. The mints at Bologna, Milan and Venice must have been a complete shambles compared to the French mints. A retirement project I think 😄

Here you are. I feel I should have asked conservation for this one 🙄
 

A large bunch came back from @Numistacker today. Very happy with the results. A few notes:
Not one failure this time (details, not eligible etc...), must be a first! 😁 Several 68s and my first 69 grade First two coins in my collection with the Mexican and the German (new) labels Pleasant surprise and unexpected Mint Error! 😎 Four coins were picked for conservation by NCS. Two of them didn't increase and two went up two grades each. Overall I consider it pretty successful.

Another Napoleon - this time one from Italy, a 1810M 1 Lira, only 33 more to go for the full set 😄 (probably impossible even in VF but you have to try!)

Two 1oz Platinum Falcons.  These came as shown in these capsules form Royal Mint bullion.

Some more Brits arrived in the past few days.

I was thinking the same. I have about 800 ozs of physical silver which I bought for investment purposes 3-4 years ago. I keep looking on TSF and can’t believe how many folk are selling. I understand that dealers have to to earn a living, but I have kept all of my powder dry. My price target for selling is not even close yet...If I can afford to hold out I will.
Eric Sprott did an interesting post market wrap up on Friday with Craig Hemke (on YouTube). He is getting some of the gold miners he owns to use the huge amounts of free cash flow they are generating to buy physical silver, and is encouraging others in the industry to do the same. I know First Majestic have been doing this for some time. Huge numbers of contracts are now standing for delivery...we are hopefully in for a very interesting few months...let’s hope we see $50 silver soon!

So our local coin and bullion store has like 9 Englehard 100 Oz bars for 1.45 and 1.10 over spot. Man I wish i had the funds :(

More post today. Saw this 4 Ducat on the forum recently and decided to it would be nice to get one as well. 14g of shiny .986 gold, just lovely for a bullion coin Next on the list might be a Mexican Vente Peso if you i can find one, no rush at the moment though.
