Best value 1oz Britannia on BullionByPost is £31.82/oz (for bundle of 25 - £795.50/one tube).
Best value 1oz Britannia on forum sold yesterday for £25.5/oz (for bundle of 25 - £637.50/one tube).
Daily you can find on forum good bargains, gold and silver, but usually they sell quick. My advice is to upgrade your membership to minimum Silver (£5.99/month), to have access instantly to see the sale posts. Grading from a reliable source just confirms what the coin is and what condition it is in.
It can be useful to protect for example proof coins and also for higher value coins. For lower value coins it does not have as much impact and can cost more to grade than any value increase.

My experience would suggest that if something is priced well on the forum it will sell quickly.
Gold has to be spot or less right now, otherwise it's just not going to sell. 
Silver seems to be very low to the ground in premium, I bought a below spot silver purchase (premium ish item too) this week. I have seen Britannia's going for £1 over spot. 
At these prices you kind of have to ask yourself why bother selling on the forum because Atkinsons (not a sponsored plug for those that like to call me out whenever I mention them, they are just the leading buyer and seller right now, so jog on please conspiracy theorists) and indeed other dealers are offering £1 over spot for britannias. No risk, no faff just selling and being done.
The same can be said of gold. Why bother with the risk and stress of selling a 1 Oz gold Britannia at 98% spot on the forum when you can send it to Atkinsons for 98% spot.
So, is selling on the forum dead? I don't think it's dead, it's just a crazy market that the forum is struggling to keep up with.
Buying I would say is much better on the forum right now. You can buy silver and gold dirt cheap. But if you're a seller it's cheap so not good.

As an aside, I don't think too many will have the potrait facing up, only ones I've seen are from heirlooms, was a brave but brilliant decision.

Started seriously stacking/collecting gold just over 3 years ago and breached the 1KG level late last year. With the lovely weather of the bank holiday weekend I felt like sharing my collection so here it is. I took a load of pretty pics before putting everything back in lock up. I think I've accumulated a decent collection. I have a few outliers that I'll most probably sell on the forum at some point which are not part of below so keep a look out. I also may part with the bullion Britannia set (feel free to drop me a message if you're interested).
What next? I feel I have enough from an investment portfolio for now but I may start to pick up a few key older sovs, we'll see. Let me know what you think and thanks to you all again:
