Thanks for that I found a vid there talking about it. Saying all analysts had predicted lower. As usual they were all wrong.

The US CPI inflation figures just came out higher than expected so people are rushing into safe havens like the dollar, metals and other commodities. It's just panic buying/selling.  Why no one saw high inflation figures coming is amazing but if you follow the MSN mainstream media type news they keep telling everyone everything is ok when it most certainly not.

It's like the market knows when I am approaching pay day....

If you buy for the short term, especially as gold is bouncing up and down, then you run a real risk of getting stung. But maybe consistently buying smaller amounts over a far longer period would ‘average out’ the fluctuations? And then, hopefully, you’d be buying the lows and the highs?  Just a thought. I’m not a financial advisor by the way. Good luck whichever way you go  😂🙏

10 X 1 oz Gold Britannia hard to beat at Tavex. But other dealers available of course. 

For 10 X 2022 Brit Tavex cheapest by a decent margin then Atkinson's and Chards are close but Chards a few quid more expensive.
If you aren't bothered about the year or type of 1 Oz coin it might be different
