There still about cuz they are same price as dealer don’t no why people on here selling gold at same price as dealer the reason I joined the silver forum I was told by a few mates of mine that are popular on here that there’s good deals on here but all I see is same price as dealers

Not quite sure what you expect on here, however, two dealers who are regularly cheaper than elsewhere are at £185 for a 1/10th. There are good deals on here …. how much are proof sovereigns currently on here and currently with dealers?😮🤔Sometimes you have to have some patience, but considering where gold prices are currently headed what do you expect?

Ahh, so you want them to lose money so you can grab a deal? 

The price someone bought said coins at will heavily dictate what they sell them for. There are plenty of offerings going through daily cheaper than dealers, tenths are not coins you wanna be stacking if you're just deal hunting. Their premium is heavily built in.

There's also an upside to buying from here if the dealer is price matched - you can see exactly what you're buying.

I’m still new to this and appreciate feedback.

I have had a crazy start to my new found hobby buying all sorts of interesting things, and recently decided to streamline my collecting/stacking, and selling some items to achieve this aim.  I do not look to trade and instead collect and learn about the various coins etc. The TSF community have been extremely supportive and helpful with this, and very pleased I joined.  As such, whilst trying to avoid paying over the odds I am yet to become a canny buyer simply looking for deals… but I’m learning!  Unfortunately for me, this reflects in the prices I have advertised.

I have researched prices before placing a topic/listing both on TSF and good old Google.   I regularly see fantastic prices on TSF which sadly I cannot always match or beat, but I offer mine at the best price I can whilst hoping to avoid a loss in order to reinvest in this hobby.

Any help is appreciated.  Could you let me know which dealers are offering specifically 1996, 2019, and 2020 1/10th gold Britannias at £175 plus post so I can take a look.  I realise I need to undercut them (by a small amount at the very least) and thought I had following my research, but there are many dealers out there.

Don’t stress! Not sure why your coins haven’t sold, however, just checked again and the two dealers who I have previously bought Britannias and sovereigns from … cheaper than on here(!), currently have individual 1/10ths @ £185 (both offer free postage). 😮🤔

As Petra said, dont worry about it,

If thats the price you want then keep it at that until they sell or you decide to withdraw or even take a slight hit and reduced them, dont be put off by anyone, stick to the plan unless it needs to be tweaked a bit

most of us will have had coins not selling, it happens.

@DW1777 don't worry about it mate, your coins are priced fairly. No dealer is offering 1/10th for less than you. HGM/Tavex are both £185 including postage.

If you struggle to sell them on here then try ebay. I sold a 1/10 brit for £189 delivered at the end of August before prices rose and it sold within a week. 

I should also perhaps add (or perhaps not) that it's a waste of your time to engage with certain people on the selling side of this forum (you will quickly understand which ones) and you certainly shouldn't have to explain your prices.

I think some items on here are struggling to sell as most people have lower budgets currently and are having to be more choosy about which items they buy.  Brit's are a bit boring!  (Sorry lol...) 

I know there are a few 'hoover' members, but they have the budget for larger items with lower premiums.

Tenths were ideal for those of us with limited budgets, but the premium on tenths seems to have shot up lately...so much so that BBP is now competitive!

I agree that you're probably better off trying to sell these on eBay if you've got reduced fee's this weekend.

Thanks for the observations everyone.  I’ve dropped my all three price a little bit.  Will see how it goes over the weekend and review.  Hey… I might even change my collecting plan for the umpteenth time and keep them! 😂

No mate fair play for your prices you do what you think is meat and as for everyone else jumping on my comment it’s a saving of 50p all I was saying is that’s why they still there @Solachesis why else do people paying a subscription fee on the silver forum to get deals or we Wundt bother would we and just stick to dealers, really don’t no why you had to come with you mouth if I think it’s not a good deal then I can say it’s not a good deal with out some keyboard Wolly like you jumping on the hype if there such a great deal buy them
