New Royal Mint coin release

Just had a quick look on the RM web site this morning, just incase there is/was a new coin release and stumbled across this. Clicking on the link reveals a broken a link at the moment.

 

Guessing it's the second coin in the Elizabeth series.

Damn so I take it the 1/4 gold proof standard price is now £700 moving forward for all coins now?

I can't even find the 1 oz silver proof, which is the one I want - Royal Mint website is shocking at times.

What do you expect from the RM when the price of gold goes down?

It's not 1 oz, it's 10/11 oz.

Could be because trying to access the RM sometimes https://www.royalmint.com/ and sometimes https://www.royalmint.com/beta/ opens, at least in my case, and in fact these addresses have different content. 🤪

Indeed - it's the £5, not a 1 oz.

All of yesterday's releases look to be still available.  Is this a sign that the market is tiring of the RM's non-stop releases?

Personally I’d think yes.  There’s too many releases and too many variations in each release.  On the positive side, it means more collectors can collect the different kinds of themes and ranges they’re interested in without having to overpay to the worst of the unscrupulous flippers.

I have this mate its garbage, I get the beta site using safari but the normal site when using Firefox.

Does it also happen if you bookmark it?  I have the regular (non Beta) site bookmarked and don’t get redirected to the Beta site.

I don’t know mate, it feels dodgy as you can’t even see some of the products depending what version you are directed to bullion is the worst it’s like they want you to buy only what they are showing you on the site selected.
