Anyone got a phone number? Have people had any recent contact?

Once I saw people's coins turning up I didn't worry that much and ordered a half sovereign....

0800 193 0080. According to their facebook page.

I suppose you could try and message them through FB messenger as well.

The website is still in the process of many updates and can be the reason why this was shown as completed when in fact it had not been. However you can always call us FREE 0800 193 0080 between Monday and Friday. We will never miss a customer services call. Happy you received your coin. Thank you for your business.

Although I promised not to comment on this topic, I would like to give the forum members this piece of information that they can do with as they please.

The Managing Director of the company name hidden by request of member, resigned from this company on the 20th August 2019.

May I ask the relevance of the above?

Hello @TheBuckinghamCollection - a lot of the coins you have for sale are 'price on request'. Is there a reason for this? For people like me who like to buy with as little complications as possible, this creates a bit of a hurdle and also makes no sense when selling coins that are most likely around the 1,300-1,400 mark. If you were selling a 15,000 coin I may be able to understand this.

Would you be able to consider amending your website to promote the prices that you want for the items being sold?

Thank you in advance,

Andrew.

We advise to call us with a query average hold time is only 1 minute.

We do not tend to use the Facebook as a means of contact.

I am a member of numerous financial forums, and it is common practice for people to post information from companies house regarding changes in senior management in companies that forum members deal with. Especially with new and fledgling companies.

Nothing sinister I can assure you.

Perhaps the representative of @TheBuckinghamCollection can introduce him/herself?

This is a real shame. Coming on here and engaging with their customers was good. Offering a free half sovereign as an apology was even better. Why they did not hang around is beyond me. Sure, the criticism was heavy, but it was always constructive...

A look at the ages of the 3 Directors could explain their actions........... 23, 24, 25 . I've found that the younger generation, thanks to their obsession with social media and the growing WOKE culture and age of the snowflake, find criticism very hard to take. Which is great work by the liberal left teaching profession, who's policy of "Nobody is the best, everybody is a winner" means that the youth of today are not as well equipped to dealing with the real world, but that's another forum thread.

But hey, I could be wrong. ;)

This may be of interest to people as well .... https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/mr-g-webb-v-the-buckingham-collection-ltd-1401239-2019

Now I know we have some domain experts on this forum @Kman , so why would a company change it's domain name from the obvious buckinghamcollection.co.uk or buckingham collection.com, to a shortened version tbccoins.co.uk. Do they not own the previous domains? Can they not just transfer them to a different server if they are having issues?

As Alice once said "Curiouser and curiouser"

Get over yourself - I think they have better things to do than listen to you p*** and moan constantly.

Didn’t you get a free half sovereign, despite getting a full refund? If so, why don’t you stand tall and send it back - then I’ll partially tolerate your nonsense.

Ive said this from the beginning, some customers have absolutely nothing better to do other than pursue trivial complaints. It’s usually a sign of early on set dementia.

I've always said, when you have to resort to insults, then you have lost the argument.

I'm assuming you are against censoring opinion. if so, then I am perfectly entitled to make a comment providing it is not libelous. This is what I have done.

If you don't like what I say, don't read my comments, it's a easy as that.

But in the spirit of bonhomie, I'll let the Buckingham Collection topic rest.......................until that is..........................I can say I told you so.

;)
