@ChrisSilver. Shipping was Euro 40 (anyone know of a shortcut to birng Euro symbol up).   For 1 or 2 coins it's too expensive but I had 4 plus silver too so it brought the overall cost down.

Working on getting the design changing and rarer coins first but I'm really gutted gold is still up £8 from when I made that order.  It was up almost £15 at various points yesterday.  I'm hoping it'll fall back down very soon.

Yea that is very expensive, I'll probably pick up an elephant some point this year from coininvest. My plan will be to at least collect the elephant and a kangaroo each year, maybe the lunar series. And then just get other random gold coins as I can afford to do so.

On a UK keyboard, Ctrl+Alt+$ gives you a Euro symbol: €

 

See, I can create a Euro as quickly as the ECB can.

Considering it's only 1-2%, then it's not much but it soon mounts up.  I'm having a little gamble and play.  I have my € purchase order in place so I can scoop some up at a decent rate (I hope).  Then I have to pray for the gold price to drop back enough.

8 Guernsey doubles,  honest opinion......disappointing 

not that im disappointed with the coin quality , but its a kind of mirror finish , but when you turn the coin in different angles it looks like the coin has not been polished correctly a sort of fogging /matt finish on the edges where you expect it to be shiny, really cant explain in words,

I don't think ill order any more   I prefer the phils in all jonesty

Nice purchase! If your using a phone you can probably tap the screen to focus (works on iPhones, probably other phones though not sure.)

Thanks for the tip, but I use a regular camera not a phone.

Persaonally I'm not a big fan of cell phones.
