Today I Received.....

I was reluctant to post because I was quite amused by sitting on 666 posts for a bit, however I'm quite excited because today I received a not only a 2006, but also a 2007 silver Britannia. Not much in the grand scheme of things but it does mean that I now have a complete run of BU Brits, 1998-2014 

 

What's your favourite design?

 

I really like the 2008, the 2009 is also  very good

 

2010 and 11 are both hmm.. not great lol.

It's a tough choice between 1999, 2005, or 2007. Maybe it's my age but 2001 just looks stuck in a time-warp, most of the others are ageless classics.

As I promised, however I got these late yesterday, and could not be bothered taking pics...

BEST COIN I OWN HANDS DOWN. I like this coins, then any other coin I have ever seen, Either this coin or the 2013 panda is my all time fav coin... (Side not, also loving the new Koala Design, Perth mint have knocked it out of the park with the koala's and Kook's this year) 

Also the last pic.... Is a EMPTY sheet of 30 (Chinese Panda's come in sheets of 30). These Kooks fit PERFECT in the slots in the sheet, I also have 2 tubes of 15. ( I like to keep all my silver in tubes, hence why I put the Kook's in the sheet for the meantime until I get more tubes)

Nice CM, I'm getting the 10 ozer, I would like to see Perth Mint do a 1oz and 2oz proof of that design or a Kilo proof set to celebrate 25 years of the kooks

Same here mate, I do not normally purchase proofs, however I will as a special gift to myself for reaching a certain goal

Personally a Kilo coin for me is too big, but I would not mind a 2 oz or even 5 oz for this lovely coin. However the Design on the Kilo coin would be amazing to look out.

Funny that CM I don't really bother much with Bu's but I think i'll buy a couple of the 1 ozers as well as the 10 ozer I like the coins you've shown above.

The kilo proofs are awesome as are the 10 ozers.

20 lunar Goats and 20 2015 Kooks, have to agree with CM the Kook is a beautiful coin and I have to say the goat's so much better in the flesh.

quadrums are great cases for gold.  it makes smaller fractional coins look much bigger than they are on par with 1oz coins
