This rather lovely coin came in the post today from a dealer who shall remain unnamed. Not pictured is the sovereign that also arrived, but we all know what they look like at this point 😄

The 2015 Piedfort Silver Last Royal Arms £1
The current popular Royal Arms design used on the Royal Mint's bullion coinage was first seen in 2015 along with the 5th Portrait of HM.
As a Piedfort, "The Chunky Arms", a somewhat unsavoury spit 'n' sawdust hostelry in Windsor,  had a mintage of 2,000 as compared to 3,500 for its skinnier brother.

It's not much compared to what many folks here get delivered, but as a newby stacker its that little bit of my monthly pay packet that makes me smile!  The 2oz feels chunky and weighty and I'm really impressed with how perfect the condition is.  I've had a quick look under the microscope and the condition really is ..."mint!"
I'm thinking of starting to collect the 2oz 'Beasts', but with really high premiums on some coins I'm not sure if that's being a magpie or a sensible investor.  It's either that or save up till Christmas and get myself a 10oz!!
  

After waiting 3 months for the White horse because of corona virus,it finally arrived today with a couple of Bulls to make up the weight re postage. Over the moon with the White horse now completely up to date with 1oz proofs in PF 70 😄 & the Bulls aren't too shabby either.

So after lots of research, I finally took the plunge and today have received my first PM! Very happy, two the same, lovely coins. Many thanks to @GoldenPhil who made the process very easy, and was patient with me as a novice!

This came a few days ago but been so busy doing other stuff have not had time to photo it or others that have come.
Its a Czechoslovakian 20 Korun, 1933 dated and made from .700 silver.
This coin has three blokes on the back holding hands and one of them has his todger out, and its smaller than mine ! , apparently they are supposed to symbolise Industry, Business and Agriculture, not some sort of gay pride.
The J.H on the reverse was the initials of the engraver Jaroslav Horejc
This coin is quite large but thin, the size of a 1oz bullion but weighs only 12g.
It was minted for two years only in 1933 and 1934, production figures are as follows,
1933,  2,280,000 made
1934,  3,280,000 made
 


 
 
Here it is with two of its brothers I just need one more coin now to complete my Czech silver coin collection
 


 

Got these 1/10 royal arms, was going to sell them but decided I like them too much!! Also this cute little replica eagle. Just under 1gm 22ct.
