Purchased for 228, bear in mind you have to travel to London or Edinburgh to get one and then the issue is if they have one in store
Seems cheap and no hassle to me for someone who wants one

I have watched all 3 of those channels. As a quant (Physicist and Master of Finance) I have more than a passing interest. I did enjoy Neil once but lately he's really annoyed me. The guy exists purely to sell his finance course. As the saying goes, "those who can't do, teach". Neil keeps claiming he's some kind of oracle and he repeatedly uses the phrase, "all my predictions came true". Umm, first of all no they didn't and secondly, the ones Neil did get right he copied from elsewhere. I can't believe he has the balls to claim he got the recent Fed hike correct and claim it was some kind of big deal. The CME FedWatch tool had like a 90% chance of the 0.25 bp rate hike at the last meeting. This tool is often used by YouTubers and stackers. So he claimed using his special powers he predicted something that had a 90% chance of coming true. What a champion forecaster
CME FedWatch Tool - CME Group
Neil ran a whole series of videos on the "banking crisis", fear-mongering people for clicks, while not saying anything that wasn't directly copied from mainstream publications. He's basically a parrot and has captured an audience who perhaps aren't experts. Neil isn't an expert and he has no formal qualifications in STEM subjects. I watch plenty of finance content creators on various platforms but the only one I would whole-heartedly recommend, the only one who has ever taught me anything, is Patrick Boyle:

I know he might look a little on the intense side but compare that video with the material released by Neil or any of the other channels you named. Patrick is legit and they are amateurs in comparison

Here's an interesting site, I know it's a bit earlier than the 1370's but Caernarfon and Conwy Castle each cost £15500 to build between 1282 and 1304, this would equate to around 11,468oz of Gold in 1370's money.

Some good info there! I'd never heard of the ora before.
Interesting to note the stability in the earlier days. A nobleman living on about £200pa over a few centuries and only going up to £500 or do in the mid-1400s, which coincides with the silver bullion shortage of the mid fifteenth century. There was a lot of debasement in that era (by weight in England and by fineness on the continent).
As we all know: poor money leads to higher prices.

    Morning all,
Tough sale but equally amazing opportunity for someone to enjoy this set as much as I have. The full Queens Beast set + the Completer, housed in a beautiful @Alun box.
Revered as the best sets the Royal Mint has ever produced each coin is in great condition and come in their own capsule. Also, as the Completer came as a complete (pun intended) surprise to all,  boxes produced ok previously only have 10 slots. This is one of the only boxes that is able to house all 11 of these amazing designs.
As I’m sure most will know it would be extremely difficult to assemble this set today as the early coins are rarely available not to mention finding a box that can display them all.
    £19,800 including UK delivery
More pics available on request. I’m based in London, happy to hand deliver (location dependent)
    Thanks for looking 😊

The property had been fully renovated then handed over for the Syrian refugee program. It was supposed to be for 2 years but ended up 5 years. and only after I had visited for a repair had I realised the extent of the situation and pulled the council up on the state of the place. The tenants are now housed in a local authority property. Now I'm battling with them for the damage costs. Market rent at £700 but only getting £535 pcm. Its a joke.
On the other hand I have met some great people and I am now even god parent to one, But that is a whole other story. Funny as hell but like a I say, I've met the best and the worst of society.

The stories I could tell you, I could write a book. I worked for 18 years for a west London council and sometimes I would take a heavy duty rubble bag just to rest my tool bag on as the floor was so disgusting. They would say to me ''sorry did not have time to clean today''' I would not hold back and told them straight, '' this place has not be cleaned in years''.

It really is very sad. Everyone seems to know their rights but not their obligations. It's never their fault, always someone else's. My picture folder is full of the houses in a shocking state after tenants have left and during their occupancy.
The thing I like about metals is, it doesn't make any mess and won't ring me up at 11:30pm on new years eve to tell me the shower had been left on as they were rushing to leave the house that morning to visit family and having just got back in have realised the shower head had fallen and sprayed water all over the bathroom floor which has made it through the celling in to the kitchen. Can I come quick to sort it out.
