Just a quick up date. The sovereign is here. I have posted it on the TIR thread but only fair to mention Gavin (the seller). Best communications ever. Kept me up to date on its delivery almost with a blow by blow account. Asked when would be best for me to receive. We've beat the bank holiday. Instantly informed me on receipt of my payment. Asked if I'm happy once it arrived. Packaging was better than first class. I hope to deal with him again.

I've been thinking about this today. @sellerstacker is a new business seller, this kind of 'theft' or abuse of trust could end his business. It's a lot to lose, and a lot to recover.
I've been a member for nine years so, naturally, I have a lot to say! 😉
I've missed out on so many great deals because I have not been confident in the seller. I think you need to build a relationship with a seller first before you agree to a deal.
A case in point: @Leonmarsh had so many good deals and it was so easy to pull his pants down 😂
I gave him the banter, we argued, called each other names....basically we were nasty to one another. Then we began to PM. Tried to be helpful, sharing tips.
Leon put a watch up for sale that I wanted. We agreed on an exchange, I think it was 37g of gold? He was happy to send the watch first. Top man.
Now this is an extreme. 
 
I desperately wanted to do a deal with @James32. It was the NI thing that put me off. But we had a super deal and now I don't worry.
I'm yet to do a deal with @theman73. I will one day, if he has what I want 😊
The point of all this ramble is... you wouldn't buy anything from a bloke you just met in a pub, would you?

In my opinion, I wouldn’t send this sovereign for grading.
It seems like a ‘second variety’ Jubilee sovereign and has wear on the high points of the obverse.
 

I like the privy mark on this SOTD sovereign, the ‘Tommy’ helmet under the 80.
Simple yet very fitting.

I'm not sure the two things correlate.
I'm fond of a bit of woke, but I'm not a Republican and am gutted that they've cancelled the Monarchs series.

One of my favourites in my collection is this 1988 proof half sovereign that I bought earlier this year at spot price.
With a low mintage of only 7,074.
