Another 2022 double Sov from @LawrenceChard here. Been wanting one for a while and they were out of stock most places, so I snapped one up while I could.
Lovely size and coin (the mark near the unicorn's gob is just fluff, not a dent)

Not unlike an expectant father again, I’ve anxiously waited for this Sixpence to arrive from the USA, it having been held to ransom by the courier, initially demanding 20% HMRC VAT/Duty.
Now it has finally landed, I don’t think I have ever been so thrilled to receive a coin.
An exceptional example of a Charles I (1625- 1649) Sixpence. Briot’s First Milled issue 1631-32 mm Flower & B. obv. His crowned bust left with falling lace collar and VI behind.  Rev. Square topped shield/ long cross dividing arms. 2.99g, 26mm,  Spink 2855
I feel fortunate to own this lovely Sixpence, I’m not sure I’ll find another 400 year old coin in such condition.

I'd decided to collect this series long before the events of last thursday. Still waiting for the final one from RM, but they tell me there will be a delay due to a world silver shortage?
By the way, the detail in the medals on the reverse is quite impressive

RIP your majesty I will hold your coins with pride, her death affected me more than I had ever thought so felt compelled and managed to secure at a non arse penetrating price

First pair of double Sovereigns arrived from Chards this afternoon. Think these might become a firm favourite. Lovely looking coins. Thank you @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer (You’ll probably want Dave’s photos for publicity as opposed my poor man’s attempt 😀)

Been looking at buying this Sovereign for some time and planned to buy one by the end of the year. But after recent events i thought id pull my finger out and get it before (or incase) prices went up of became harder to get hold of.
Sorry about the c**p pix, my phone isn't the best.

This is really bad….these turned up an I forgot I ordered them….a crying shame this is likely to be the last time we see QEII on a Tudor Beast coin.

The microdot fields are sublime, I like these more than the proof coins, especially the reverse frosting effect of the obverse.

Had my piedfort delivered today. Beautiful coin. Originally I was going to skip this one but it got the better of me last week and I bought one directly from the mint. Turned out to be a great decision. Also had a half sovereign delivered from Atkinson's today that I was waiting for the price to drop on but with the death of the queen I felt the impulse to pick it up that day and keep for my granddaughter.

I wouldn't expect any changes soon.
The 2022 Britannia is the most interesting one for me. Normally this time of year we see 2023 coins come out (already we have the Yale and rabbit coins). Will the 2023 Britannia be delayed and will it be the first to have Charles?
Some of these may well have already been struck and therefore don't need a new monarch - does that mean that a micro mintage might exist of 2023 britannias with queenie on it?
Also, bullion Yales and lunar rabbits - not all coins would have been minted yet - will the royal mint be able to mint them after her death with her effigy? One would think not. Does that mean we will get bullion Yales and rabbits with Charles' effigy too?
So many questions, not really easy to predict.
Going to be a collectors and flippers wet dream either way in my opinion.
    Time will tell.

Stunning vintage Perth mint 0.5oz button to go with my Perth mint 7.74 gram reef nugget in its Perth mint case
    £1 for scale
unreal together! When you see the colour it'd amazes me how the Royal mint can get it so wrong with their rose gold sovs

Picked up a Proof Silver Eagle on 'the bay'.
Didn't come in a presentation box so was a nice deal. Hoping to get @GoldDiggerDave to send it for grading, but theres a little mark on the field where someones tried to clean it? Fingers crossed that Dave can work his magic.
Apart from that, its a lovely example.

    In other news..........
Added a couple more Proof Britannias to the collection.

    Good morning TSF.
I thought I would put a general post up first before I post the auction later today or tomorrow morning.
I will be running a "go fund me auction" for a page I set up in memory of my late brother (I will link all info below for more reference).
As many know I post sales of coin slides that I sell for CCT, he has generously said to me he will donate a slide and a 1 oz silver coin to the winner and all postage cost's covered by him.
A bit about the cause, my youngest brother passed away 2 weeks ago at the age of 33 with multi organ failure caused by heart failure, he found out about his condition in his mid 20's but got progressively worse over the last 3 years. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/heart-failure/ this nhs link will give you more information on this horrible condition.
One of the main issues with this condition is fluid build up and you are very limited on the fluid you are aloud to have, he spent a lot of time on a ward for heart failure and the one thing he was aloud a lot of was ice (to help satisfy the thirst) but was an issue to try and get some, so he did start proceedings to get a ice machine on the ward for all the heart failure patients but sadly passed before he could do much more.
So in his memory I've been in constant contact with the ward and have set up a go fund me page to make his dream a reality. The link to the page is below.
    https://gofund.me/5cf9ca12
Thank you all for taking the time to read and hopefully take part in the auction when it goes live.
Both auctions are linked below for you to take a look at.
@ChrisSilver might it be possible to have a banner on the home page? If not that's okay.
