Sublime rare 1882 H newfoundland 2 dollar graded NGC AU58
The Newfoundland 2-dollar coin was issued in intermittent years between 1865 and 1888. It was the only circulation gold coin issued by a British colony. Although few coins were issued, it was broadly used in Newfoundland and eastern Canada. The coin became scarce in 1894 because of hoarding following the collapse of Newfoundland's banks and monetary system.
The H ia for Heaton mint Birmingham, one year only as the royal mint was overloaded with work and subcontracted the work out

Along with the 1921S, the 1924S sovereign is difficult to obtain.

The two platinum proof Britannia’s did very well.
The Sydney mint sovereign is a lovely coin and I did think it would do better than AU55. 

Received a few coins back from PCGS today.
I noticed that the Queen’s portrait on the obverse is not aligned to the reverse. Has anyone else seen the same die misalignment on this coin?

Received the 2oz QB silver proof Completer Coin. The capsule came loose in transit but thankfully the coin looks fine.

The Sydney mint sovereign is a lovely coin and I did think it would do better than AU55. 

Here is the silver proof to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the 50p coin in 1969.  

From 2019 the silver proof set for the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the 50p coin into circulation in 1969. Mintage of these sets was 1969. 

An 1871 St George reverse sov with the large BP on the obverse. The date is common, but they're not so easy to find with this variety.

A lovely 1878 Sydney shield back sovereign. Bought this one right here on the Silverforum! 

The 2018 half sovereign that went through the Trial of the Pyx. 

After a long wait received the 1oz gold proof Queens Beast Completer coin today. Interesting that it was the quality controlled “QC” sticker.
However there is a massive “smudge” on the Queens portrait which you can easily see with the naked eye.
