Still picking up the odd bit of silver when I can, these arrived this week.

Lunar Series I finally complete and a 1997 Gold £2 bought from the Collectables category on eBay, using the 10% voucher, so came in 7% under spot. Hoping conservation can do something about the dark spot.

Received some silver over the past few days and whilst at my local bullion dealers picking up my wife's gold ring from resizing I picked up a 3 gram South African coin at a cheap price. I noticed the 1oz griffin in the window and enquired about the price and then walked off. Don't know how or why but I ended up leaving my missus in the supermarket and walked back to buy it.
I won't be buying for a while now that I've got my first ever 1oz gold coin, which has put a project for my garden that I had ideas about on hold.

Converted some bullion into some "junk" silver, 5 francs, 450g of fine silver

Slowly trying to get the series in MS70 ...its a labour of love and grief with NGC.  
 

Today I unpackaged a few coins for my newest project - a collection of world silver  Bullion coins. All pcgs so far grades 70. The plan is to make a plaque to hang on my wall to display them.

Some "conjoined" 1990 and 1991 kooks. I'm told originally these were sold from the mint in slabs of 10 coins. 
 
 

Oh god imagine a reverse proof sovereign... I'll just leave them my debit card and pin no, they could take what they wanted for it!

The GSR is a good indicator, when its low the metals are expensive and when its high the metals are cheap.
I am sure it is possible to examine the lows and tops in metals, and compare strategies;
1. Accumulate silver when GSR is high, swap for gold when GSR is low, hold gold.
2. Accumulate both metals when GSR is high, sell both when GSR is low, hold cash.
Work out who is best off at the next high in GSR.

When prices started going up in the last couple of months, I was not far from my silver target and quite far from my gold one. Silver started rising later, so I have tried to accumulate as much as I could. Now they are both up but I am noticing something strange: although the increases in gold tend to reflect immediately in prices, the ones in silver come with a delay. I can still find some good deals in silver, although not as often as before.
Has anyone else noticed that? One explanation is that premiums in silver are higher, so there is always some room to play with. Other opinions?

Recently picked up 2016 Gold Commemorative Coins.  I will be keeping my eye out for a decently priced walking liberty with the same label style.

I tried out Silver Gold Bull UK for the first time, and ordered 10 dollars worth of 80% silver Canadian coinage - I didn't expect it to be in the form of dollar coins! All of these are from 1962 to 1967. I have to say, I'm quite impressed with how tidy some of these coins are, too

34 of 5 and 27 of the 2 of these controversial Reich coins. Aim is to stop at 50 on the 5, 100 on the 2, not too far off.
