Received my 2oz silver Gothic portrait today after a 2 wks wait.
  loose capsule - ☑️
  missing frosting - ☑️
  bottom capsule stucked to the box's base - ☑️
  skipped a heartbeat when the coin almost fell off- ☑️
Thankfully, there is no major damage to the coin after the unboxing commotion... 😌
 

That’s great.  So the buyer has a choice as to which box he/she likes.

This did not sell, it’s not even in the sellers hand yet. No photo of actual coin on listing (noticed?).
Apparently the buyer had to meet up and seller didn’t like the sound of it (more likely seller cancelled), so coin is still available. Also sellers eBay account is apparently frozen 🥶 Seller told me all this and offered imaginary coin to me too. Seller has only sold small silver coins in the past, nothing this big. Other items for sale might not be in hand, who knows. Looked like a long con to me. Seller kept going on about his Ltd Co. Etc but that means nothing for buyers safety. Had I bought it I doubt I’d ever see the coin.
Buyer probably wanted to help seller avoid eBay fees so to meet up but then the seller didn’t have the coin anyway. Avoid that eBayer like the plague (imho).

My mates think im some sort of maniac for explaining the monetary system to them. I have experienced the traditional denial of "Away ye go" "They (banks) cannae do that" etc
Too many people are thick, conditioned to the point of brain damage and outright refuse reality. Sad, but its true.

Exactly right?  Makes no sense. 

At the end of the month when you receive your pay cheque it is like finishing a marathon, (not that I have ever done one, but you know what I mean). As a result of this we want to treat ourselves and buy something/spend the fiat on something that will provide some gratification for the hard work we put in during the month that has gone by. In a way we cant really fault people that go out and enjoy their funds as they are entitled to spend their money however they wish. 
I will hold my hands up and confess, I used to spunk money, but with age and maturity the dynamics behind living change each year. Pms enabled me to treat myself with the paycheque in a more sustainable way. 
 
in terms of savings, I equate the metals as a savings mechanism. 
 
At the end of the day life is short, I have admiration for the folks that go out and enjoy their life with their funds. 

Do you think it's true that 40% of americans can't afford $1000 for an emergency? And do you think it's a similar percentage over here in the UK. If true it's a dire statistic that's for sure! 

As ever with these things, innocent people will die for no good reason.

If I had 10 to 11k lying around doing nothing , I would be like a rat up a drain pipe.
Be brave when others are fearful. It's like the 10oz gothic auction the other day, I am convinced if that, or the 5oz gold appeared on the RM website, they would go very quickly. As would any of them, probably.
The economic mood music probably isn't being helpful.

Fingers crossed, that they will offer from coin to coin previous buyers the next release. I'm the unluckiest guy on the planet, if it comes to the RM queue. 

To be honest the queue for me is the best part.
Nothing like trying to log on from 8.20 the day before just to end up at 3k+ number 🤣 really sets you up for the day ahead.
Or if you get lucky enough to enter whilst still items available, the adrenaline makes you forget what you wanted to buy.

I asked my AM there but she said there weren’t going continuity due to the size of the series 🙄 an option would have been nice  to avoid another 20 x 9am scrambles 😂

Wonder are they going to do what they did with the gothics going forward....anyone who purchased gets an offer of next coin whether they chose continuity or not.
