Two sovereigns from HGM.

Almost half a kilo of Half Crowns (50%) for just under spot, including 'free' special delivery. Got lucky, I guess?
Some okay examples, but mostly just for 50% silver content.

Also got these tubes from @morezone
The half oz tubes are great for my half crowns.

8 X 1kg gold bars.

This 1911 sovereign from @sg86 arrived today. Nice to come home from a long day at work and have this waiting.

Got my first sovereign today. I took a punt with Atkinson's random bullion lucky dip and crossed my fingers that I didn't get a veiled head Victoria. 
Nothing special but I'm happy with this as my first. I may have to change my username.

A rather lovely birthday present arrived in perfect time this morning. The BP on the reverse is much smaller than the ones I have on my other G&D sovereigns (1905 onwards). Is this normal for a Victoria YH G&D?

Nothing special to most here but chuffed with my first PM purchase, a 2017 full sovereign.  Hopefully the first of many!

My very first Sovereign! The 2017 Strike on the Day! Let it be the start of a great collection!  

I received my order from France Mint (Monnaie de Paris) today. The face value silver coins are "normal" but I would like to share this heavy medal (350 grams, 85% copper + 15% zinc). Using a one-euro coin as scale reference of this 75mm medal. It depicts the grand Forbidden City Palace of Beijing, with a modern touch of bicycles and rickshaw on the reverse side.

 

1981 1/4 Onza, beautiful coin with full cartwheel. Hard to get a good picture of this coin but definitely heading to NGC this fall for grading. Should be an MS64+

just arrived, small pick up from evil bay no idea if its a collectable  , my 2 nd slab coin, my have paid too much but its not a short term investment , just for me to own for a short time

Almost all YH G&D sovs that have a BP are of the small variety, very few varieties have a large BP. There are quite a few without.
