    Wow!
People think they are cheap, along with Argos, Amazon, and ebay, but they are not!

And a couple of Victoria sovs purchased from a Hatton Garden vendor.
    1892 Jubilee Victoria
This one isn't as nice as the other one above, showing the wear around Victoria's Hairline and the lace trim on her veil. This is sadly a bit typical of Jubilee vics, and it seems quite hard to find ones where this bit isn't worn quite badly.  At least it's not underweight.

    1880 Young Victoria
This is perhaps a VF and the obverse is reasonable without any major handling marks, although the reverse has some visible scuffing on it and what looks like an attempt at removing a red spot.  Fortunately there's nothing really unsightly on the effigy, and the gunge that forms the red spots decomposes at 160°C.

    1957 Gillick Sovereign

    1959 Gillick Sovereign
The 1959 sovereign looks like the planchet might have been struck slightly off-centre.

Got back my first ever graded coins! How does anyone manage to wait this long without dying of impatience? Haha.
Only small fry compared with others I see on here, but I'm pretty pleased with the results!

I also got back some top pop trial pieces and a few mint error coins (all certified genuine) and although I think they are even more exciting, they aren't made of precious metal so don't feel like they belong here!

I would always recommend a (full) sovereign rather than a half sovereign. The premium is usually lower, and you can see more detail on the larger coin.
Also a bullion sovereign is more likely to increase in value than a half, whether proof or bullion. In fact, there is more generally chance of acquiring a half at a lower price as time goes by.
As some have already suggested, there is almost certain to be a Coronation Sovereign issue soon.

2022 sovereign from Atkinsons. I'm happy as long as I don't look at the obverse, we don't talk about that.

Reading this thread makes me exceedingly glad that my bank balance has a minus in front of it.
I don't worry about it, as if they try to bail in using my money, they're getting no where.
I, like many of you here, have a store of wealth. It's just outside the banking system, and long may it continue to be so.
This parasitic banking culture is surely a good reason to stack.

It's good to be back home after six weeks and to have time to unpack some packages. But "It's only capsules, my darling" still doesn't work. Still, 2 OZ / 39mm Direct Fit Queens / Tudor Beasts capsules, 2 OZ / 40mm Perth Mint capsules and special thanks to @morezone for the 1 OZ Air-Tite bar capsules. The Great Engravers bars look so much better in the capsules than in the original plastic foil. I'm really happy he has send me them, they ain't available in Germany.
Thanks also to @QuantumStacker for the PF69 2021 2 OZ Britannia & 2 OZ Henry VII. Received them before going to the hospital, just had no nerves for coins then.
Then a few Three Graces 1 & 10 OZ silver bars. I find the reverse with the Greek touch quite nice, the motif side I found much nicer in this picture than in hand, so no better picture needed. Fingers crossed, there is coming a nice Gothic Arms bar.🤞
Enough for today, I'm going back to bed.
