Yes, email confirmation and refund already processed.
It was all manual though and started when I emailed them for confirmation.

The decision was a few weeks ago and they only sold a few hundred sets so the notification and refund process should have been quite easy. Give them a call or email and force the issue.
I finally called them this week and asked where it was - they had no idea. Apparently a team leader was going to call me ..... still waiting.
Very poor show.

Why should they tell us quickly? They've had our money for 6 months while we've sat quietly. I would not be surprised if they only tell people when they ask.
-
But we do have a contract with them which one assumes has some basis in law? Under which part of their terms and conditions are they cancelling?
Additionally they've had use of half a million pounds of our money for 6 months I don't see walking away after that time simply saying sorry is enough.
-
They certainly haven't communicated anything to me yet either. This is a big disappointment.
But it's really strange, they can make a 2oz and a 10oz but not a 5? Really?
How many 10oz were minted. Not enough to cover all the people who bought 5oz I'm sure.

Just wondering if anyone else has had delivery of their 5oz petition crown set? Ordered back in March but no sight of it yet.

It actually says ‘you may’ on the top line, meaning that they don’t have to do sections an and b? Try looking somewhere else?
Yes absolutely - so it's their choice to do it.

So I put in an order to a very well known dealer on Friday which was over £5000. Today they have come back and asked to see my passport and Driving license and a household bill.
Now I understand it's law that if you are buying gold over a value of £5000 then it's a requirement - EXCEPT in certain circumstances - one of these is selling over the internet/mail order
====================================================
(VAT Notice 701/21) section 7.4
7.4 Internet and mail order sales
This section has force of law.
If you sell investment gold over the internet or by mail order and you fulfil the conditions at (a) or (b) below, you may, instead of keeping the customer record set out at paragraph 7.1(b), keep and maintain the following record:
(a) if your supply is paid for by credit card and the delivery address is also the card holder’s address, you must record the name of your customer, the credit card issuer and the card number; or
(b) if your supply is paid for by cheque, you must record the name of your customer, the name of the bank and the account number of your customer.
You must also keep proof of despatch of the investment gold to your customer’s address.
=================================================
It seems to me that it's not necessary to provide all the details being requested by the dealer. what are other people's experience of this? When I've bought Gold over £5000 previously (Royal Mint) there wasn't a murmur. I guess in the scale of things it's not necessarily a biggie. But being aware of Identity Fraud I try and keep my personal information to myself as much as possible - it's going to sit on their hard drives for the next 7 years, who knows who has access to it.
Am I over reacting?

I think I'll be waiting for the Bullion too. My final coronation coin arrived yesterday, the 1Kg Silver, and I feel like I'm done for the moment.
One question I've been wondering is should I get the 2oz Gold and 1Kg silver graded?
I'm not into graded coins but feel these are worthy, but at the same time I think presentation has a lot of pleasure, esp. The Silver packaging. If feels as though it's just commoditised putting it into a plastic NGC holder.
I know it doesn't add value but having 003 of 200 is cool but is lost in an NGC holder.

Interesting... did that include the 2 oz Gold? That's the one I'm waiting for, along with the 1kilo silver so good to hear that's being delivered.
