I must have missed it previously and please excuse my oversight but I did not make a Hello post prior to my first comment in other threads. 
My name is Ryan. I have been reading your posts for close to a year before joining.
The knowledge and opinions of the posters have been very helpful and as many are, to each their own, I have received many new perspectives on PM's. 
The side conversations within threads tend to go over my head but I always find them entertaining, even with a little being lost in translation. 
This Forum appears to have a very close knit community and that is why I decided to join. I am in the USA specifically the state of Minnesota.
Just because I am physically thousand of miles away, doesn't mean I cant be close with you all in our love for PM's

The boss at our local zoo realised we did not have a mongoose.
He asked his secretary to ask a supplier for a pair of them.
She wrote "Can you please supply us with two mongeese?"
Realising that didn't sound right, she "corrected" it to mongi.
Then she tried mongooses. The boss didn't like that.
After some thought and discussion, they decided to write "Please send us a mongoose"

My initial thought was to stack 24k only. My first coin was a 1 oz Maple leaf and yes it is beautiful. As my budget does not always allow me to by ounces, I have kept my eyes open for any good deals. I found a local sterling dealer in a small town north of the twin cities of Minnesota. His shop sells almost exclusively sterling jewelry and, interestingly enough Vinyl records. However he does have a very small case that has 1/10's and sometimes 1/4 Krugerrands. His posted price is spot plus $15USD for 1/10's and spot plus $20USD's for 1/4's. I am now sold on Krugerrands! How could I pass up deals like that. I make a trip 1 a month or so out to see him. 
I feel much more comfortable handling the Krugerrands and the difference in each coins hue is mesmerizing.
