There has been a lot more BRICS activity going on relatively quietly and little reported in the last month or two; some of which I hadn't fully absorbed.
China brokering middle east peace deals is particularly noteworthy, in context of the USA general declining global status and equally the ongoing fall in value in the 'synthetic' value of the petro-dollar.
Saudi and China are leading all of this, China in particular financing many poor, but resource rich countries, help build Infrastructure/s for monetisation of their resources, principally within the BRICS countries or sale outside.
So with Saudi now accepting other currencies and gold for their oil, and feeling thoroughly snubbed by the USA etc green energy nonsense, the future prospects for the USD in which gold is currently priced, are pretty bleak.
Even Brazil is now exporting in exchange for riyal and yuan, the old systems are slowly but surely breaking down and taking USD denominated gold price down along with it and I'm now pushing my own timelines forward into 2024 before the results of all the afore mentioned display themselves as a recession in the USA, that which will potentially and finally maybe push gold to new highs.
No need for any panic though, just an extended chance to buy more PM at lower prices and more importantly for me ensure to take advantage of crumbling related stock prices you're following, as that's where the really serious money always gets made.

Isn't there usually a liquidity crisis before a market crash where banks, businesses - whoever is holding gold - sells everything (including gold) to avoid going under. If that's the stage it's at then it could get very ugly for spot with much more downside (for a handful of months). But it's a good buying opportunity (for those who are lucky enough to have any money left).
If this IS the time, then after the slump, it will go on that bull run we've all been waiting for as everyone turns to the safety of gold (that's if a full on market crash comes. If it does, then it would be a handful of years that gold would be on the up up up.... She says.....🤞😬).
So perhaps this is a sign of what's coming? Many are saying stocks will crash in Sept when the traders return after summer (usually by second week in Sept it drops when things are messy). China is in some deep water with property. USA banks being downgraded. It's all a matter of time. We need it in the UK because the mortgages are going to cripple us otherwise.
There's also the inverted yield curve to think of. Something like 12 to 18 months after that happens on average until a stock crash. That means we could have several more months yet (can't remember the exact yield curve situation off the top of my head but George Gammon did an interesting video on it a good few weeks back. The theory "history doesn't always repeat, but it rhymes" comes to mind!)
It's going to be interesting that's for sure....
