Geovest reacted to Fadeingstar in Sigma Precious Metal Varifier 2 Run Updates
Well ladies and gents UPS are absolutely useless. Package has been sat at Castle Donington for almost a week now. Have escalated things with UPS to find out why and what is going on. Should recieve an update in 24 hours but I am not holding my breath will update you all as soon as I know more. They seem unresponsive to emails and when you call them up you get a call centre based over sears. This is turning into some kinda of saga previous shipments had no issues with but this one is a different story.

Another quick update. The units have arrived in the UK and are currently awaiting customs clearance fingers crossed they clear customs tomorrow and so arrive in my hands Friday. Appologise for the delay it looks like some paperwork wasn't filled in correctly by Sigma and so that has delayed matters some what.

Time for another update. The first batch of units has been dispatched from America estimated delivery is apprently Thursday. Will start contacting people in the middle of next week regarding payment and delivery etc. Second batch is going to be dispatched around the end of the month so should be here at the start of March. Appolgise for the delay this is how Sigma describe themselves
"
Sigma Metalytics is a family owned and operated business based in Chico, California, founded in 2013. We take pride in the fact that our components are sourced from the U.S.A. and each of our units is hand-built to order right here in our Chico factory.
We’re not a big tech company that can always overnight your order, but our engineers take the time to build, calibrate, and test each Precious Metal Verifier by hand to ensure they are the finest quality and have the highest accuracy. "

It’s funny this gold price thing. The price goes up, everyone is worried to buy in case it comes down again. If the price goes down, everyone is worried to buy in case it goes down more. Personally, I keep buying, less when I feel it’s run up too quick and more when it pulls back, but there is never a reason not to buy. I don’t know what the price will be tomorrow or next week or next month. But what I do know is that given the state of world finances, in 10 years time, the price of gold will be a lot higher, so, I keep buying.

As we are at the end of 2022, I suppose we should look back and see how gold has done over the past 12 months. It appears that the GB£ price of gold has increased by 12% at a time that reported inflation is about 11%. So, it would seem that gold is just holding its head above water.

Cheers, and likewise thanks for your contributions too. It’s what makes all this poking around fun and worth it - to have so many people here appreciating and geeking out over everything. ☺️

Geovest got a reaction from Zhorro in King Charles III: Coins to enter circulation, Royal Mint confirms
Minting as much as demand dictates draws a firm line under easy money flipping. Patient investors may still benefit modestly. Point in case, queens beasts bullion coins were minted in near unlimited quantities, yet they sell at a premium after a few years.

Hey man, what with the double line spacing, I just had to turn my widescreen monitor through 90 degress to be able to read you post.
WTF is a "fifth correction wave"
If you think those first 2 lines of mine sound stupid, they are not half as stupid as thinking or saying that "gold is in a fifth correction wave and it will crash to $1000 soon". Whoever said it is either stupid, a liar, or both.
It could happen, but it is not as likely as me being elected Prime Minister next week.
A lot of TSF members are still waiting for silver to crash to $4 per ounce as confidently forecast here a few year ago, by someone called Wonger, who seems to have disappeared.
Lastly "There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis"
