I also got promoted to 'Eunthusiast' Is that some dodgy AI promotion to keep me punting? I'll be back with more promissory notes when Gold is above £1700 again.

I find these super premium sets less objectionable than the lower value carded ‘horrific value sets’. If you have £200k to mis spend with them, then good luck to you and I don’t really care if you don’t have the time to research (or pay someone to).
It’s the everyday chappie that’s being swindled that annoys me. Having said that .. if it’s mis sold as some sort of pension scheme (not that I think this is happening) then that’s worse.

If your p*ss was not already at boiling point, take a gander at this horrific* offering:

Seems they didn’t listen to a word you said.
*you read correctly. It is not ‘historic’ it is horrific.

Very true and on the flip side of the coin (no pun intended) there were very good buying opportunities during the sub £1500 dips in July and August when some dumped coins at spot and even below.
Happy days for any of those still in peoples collections and those who bought BTC alike 👍
Not worried about breaking £1700 today due to currency distortions, it's about keeping over the $2100 level now $2000 maybe behind us which will dictate the direction of travel in the forthcoming weeks and months IMO.

Premium with dealers and on forum were quite high, but i suppose when it hit highs then it was new territory.

So I finally got it right. I was hoping for 1705 at closing but we had quite the entertaining few hours this evening! 😁
There are many possibilities but in my opinion I don't think many are buying at present. March is bonus month for a lot of people. It'll be interesting to see if the gold price sustains 1700 at the end of the month.
KING ARTHUR COINS? Da fuq! I dislike that coin with a passion. I guess you were referring to the proof gold king arthur coins? Can't believe they were that popular...
Most expensive 1oz gold coin I purchased from a dealer during lockdown was £1,600 from Bleyer. It was one of the QB coins I was after.
If you are strictly referring to gold bullion 1oz coins your buddy ripped off the masses. 😂
I feel a slamdunk happening mid week next week. Going back to mid 1600 levels.

I think the shock from everyone is bacause you said 20% below spot which is un heard of - impossible i imagine.
20% below their retail price makes much more sense 👍

You may need to broaden the scope of your overall mission for this to work, if at all, but as the RM is wholly owned by the Treasury,
you may potentially have the right to demand various information/s under the Freedom of Information Act - maybe tell your contact of that being your next intention may well wake them up with some answers ?

Got on nice and easy, looked at prices and left! Doing a date run but no interest in paying £100 for 1oz of silver with that design. I’ll stick with normal bullion until RM sort this out

It reminds me of an advert for face cleanser! Another lazy design from RM.

Those receipts would be fascinating to see, I've only seen notional 20% margins amongst pawnbrokers, never major bullion dealers.
Their average dealer margins (ignoring weeks like this) are relatively transparent within their companies house a/c filings and somewhat below the 20% level !!
