Not for me either .... And I like giraffes. It doesn't fit into my idea of stacking, investment or flipping. You will likely find few people interested in it if you resell and I seriously doubt they will be willing to cover the premium you paid

Speechless
in Gold
@pricha I don't believe that buyers are "totally innocent" not do I think that they should do zero research into what they are spending money on. Its just that people seem to have a default of blame the buyer as they didn't xyz and with the variety and varying quality of fakes even "experts" can be fooled.

i,m sure i read somewhere that silver ( when it is molten) can absorb up to ten times its volume of oxygen
could the fact you are melting it with an oxy torch mean you are introducing too much gas into the molton silver?
causing the eruptions?
just a thought
cheers i thought it was only aluminium that had this issue

The way i see things is this: 1) Prices move up, down and sideways with people making and loosing a lot of money trying to predict patterns 2) Spend what you are comfortable with and don't chase prices 3) Having a little bit outside the fiat system gives you options but having skills, health and peace of mind are as important.

Do you transfer your bullion tubes into capsules?
in Silver

Mixed. Tubes of silver stay in tubes and are vac sealed. Loose coins are put in capsules and these are the ones I look at etc
