  1. This one must be counterfeit, most obviously the hair of Edward and britannia.
  2. I'm collecting Royal Mint Queen's Beasts, City Views, and Australia Swan and Dolphin series. Starting slowly and you will know what actually you like in longer run. There are many interesting and lovely designs in the market, however i don't have deep pocket to grab all😅.
  3. I am not aware there is any matte finish jubilee head sixpence, or at least i haven't seen before.
  4. Lovely one also. I always prefer old silver coin with some toning, but that's my preference only.
  5. It's a very good looking coin, especially i like details of St George, however if solely for grading purpose, it's another matter.

    Double Florin?

I would think it's a double florin, in view of closer DEF to bust, also GRATIA is further away from bust. And for sure, the best way is to measure it.
  7. thanks for sharing! btw, any idea why those figures can be released so quickly? Especially in view of those year 2020-2022 are still not yet available, what a strange practice by RM...i wanna to know the actual mintage of 2022 sovereign as well.
  8. Yes, and this looks much much better than the one will be in use.
  9. I'm collecting Britannia silver proof set as well as i like specific designs. For price wise, it's stable in past few years, so if u are looking for speculation,it is not a choice. However, if u plan to keep hold of it, in my opinion Britannia is a good choice.
  10. Look good, i used to not purchase bar, but really tempted by the design. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Totally agree especially those reasons related to the number of launch in past few years and PF70 coins. I have no plan to sell in near future, and hope can pass to next generation to have a small sum of profits. Also, i skip the purchase of Coronation sovereign at launch, as I don't think the increase in price is reasonable, which was already very high before the adjustment.
  12. Actually, all modern coins are much much flat comparing with Victoria's era. The low relief designs, maybe down to costs, made modern coins not good for appreciation purpose.
  13. We all won't understand how RM is operating and managing in view of its ongoing quality issue.
  14. Visited post office days ago, they said they will have it, but still don't have schedule about the availability timing.
  15. To me, the worst must be missing out the 2oz silver una and the lion, and subsequently buy the 2oz silver 3 graces at almost £900. Painful experience.
  16. That's interesting, but with royal mint QC, everything is possible. If you get 4 out of 5 without privy marks, i think there may be much more than existence of 4. However, if even return for exchange, i will still keep 1 or 2 for keepsake.

    1905 Shilling

I also think there is problem free, if all measurements and weights are qualified. I am still looking for a decent 1905 shilling to add to my collection.
  18. I didn't buy from their shop before but regularly bid through their auction since its launch years ago. They are nice to talk with though sometimes a bit late responsive to email.
  19. sadly, i don't have an incredible bank balance, poor me....😭😭
  20. Kookaburra is a lovely and beautiful series to collect. I sometimes see date run set appear in auctions in past few years, which may make you save time to collect those earlier ones, however i didn't pay attention the price whether it's reasonable or not. I have spare 19 and 20 proof on hand, and may bring to uk next month to sell through auction or forum.
