I have been a Platinum collector for some years, indeed, before I was a coin collector. I think that the non-silver precious metals might be on a rebound , and these might, only might, prove to be desirable in 12-24 months. 
I have quite a decent collection of platinum coins now ( I bought the 2007 Britannia set here on TSF last week ) , in reality, there are not many Pt collectors . At least not many visible & vocal but v little Pt does come up on TSF so it’s swings & roundabouts. If there are Pt collectors , I am happy to share insight into some of my recent pieces. Not sure where though as they are not for sale
