  1. Much as we may want them, I don’t think the RM will stoop so low as to produce coins with semi  naked ladies on them. And there would be issues with those of a feminine persuasion wanting coins with semi naked men on them.

What I would like to see is a series of coins with heraldic devices. All RM has to do is to go to St George’s chapel at Windsor castle where there are loads of banners hanging up so no need for them to do any design work!

Second delivery of the day, aside from the booklet looking as though it was treated with as much care as a jizz rag I think the coins are in good order. I do think the design is ruined on the quarter, half and surprisingly even ghe full.

The big 5 piece is magnificent, the double adequate but truthfully, with it in hand....I'm not a fan. Sad to say after all this time waiting, and I know it's not the concensus opinion, but its too much. The actual portrait of the king is fantastic though

Bareback, not really there would have been a saddle of sorts, even just a towel sized bit of leather which won't be seen as such. Also saddles as we know them didn't come in until the invention of the stirrup, which in turn didn't come to the Byzantine Empire until the late 6th century

But according to Wikipedia the myth of George and the dragon dates to the 11th century which does indict him of not keeping up with the latest technology in dragon slaying.
