What prices you thinking on them?

Interested in the chains and bracelets

Not sure yet Leon, need to get a price for them. Will let you know when I do if you want?

If the diamonds are large single stones than be worth something on the gold weight. If they are little things, worth nothing. Remember no one puts a good diamond in 9ct gold. Good diamonds go in 18ct gold and above. Could be 15ct if American jewellery.

    Photos would be useful.

Like Leon said, Jewellery does not sell for a premium on this forum.

I'll add some pictures this evening, I think they are all mostly 18ct+, I'll check some hallmarks and see what's what.

  5. I was thinking here or ebay 🤣 if they were just gold it would be easy to work out a value but the diamonds on some of the bits confuses the situation.

  6. Where would be the best place to sell gold Jewellery? A few pieces have diamonds in them too. Ebay, Jewellers, pawn shop? Any ideas or advice appreciated.

Now the decision of buying from the silver bullion one from the Royal Mint or wait to see if a dealer/seller has it cheaper in a capsule.

I thought the same! Won't be rushing to buy it if the robin hood ones were anything to go by.

I like to think that you could have bought half the same bar in silver for the same price before 2004!
My maths is not great but thats £30 kg to £895 kg in 6 years.
One off I am not so sure given the cycle & demand vs supply going forward.
You could have bought almost 2 x 5kg for the same price not long ago.
    Thats impressive growth in price.

True, the premium on the Geiger (etc) bars is pretty hefty but they look a lot nicer than the hand poured ones I've seen on ebay etc, I didn't buy this as an investment anyway I just wanted it 🤣

I would be interested in this as I ordered a 5kg Gieger bar looking at Ebay just now!
    I received a different brand?

I spoke to the supplier and asked if I'd receive a Geiger bar and they said they had Leipziger bars in stock, looks like it's their sister company and they are basically the same thing just made at a different factory.
