Got my £2 piedfort Tolkien coin. Really nice detail on the reverse. Don't usually like the two tone style of coins but this is an exception (mucky capsule though).

Today I think was my first win - usually miss the cut off!

I entered that too, but no joy. Never won a thing since they moved to that system.

A couple more landed today.

Chards now has the SOTD in stock - but as they want £1295 its a hard pass for me!

I think the 1/4 coin will do just as good as the sov. Its at a nice price range if some on wants to get one. Yeah its going to be exspensive on the 2nd hand market but it will be in most peoples reach 

Didn't work for me. Did get a prompt response and a named lead but still went round the houses on the  earlier Tudor beasts coins and gave up in the end. 

Both - definitely dust and fluff inside the capsule but also some clear marks and dings - particularly on the rims 

Shares are down, golds up. Im not all in on anything and I know with Gold around an ATH it’s the current favourite but realistically diversification is the key. My shares have took a hit, my gold is offsetting that hit and doing it’s job and the portfolio stays balanced, we are in a time where just not losing your shirt is a start. When the rubble clears that’s when there can be a fortune to be made but we are a way off that yet.
At the moment i think we have the perfect storm for gold to go up further and other asset classes to fall further. Doesn’t mean one should liquidate one for the other, just hold tight and keep moving in the right direction. Taking profits is never a bad thing either though especially when something is the highest price in history, all depends on where that money goes.
The price of gold never has and never will go up in a straight line and daily or even weekly predictions are pointless (yet entertaining at least). I don’t think it’s over yet, and as many say in a year, 2 years, 5 years time will £20 above or below the current spot price really matter?
Prediction for the week? It will definitely go up or down, that I’m positive about!

I would be OK if nobody ends up buying them, they melt them down, and then this becomes the lowest mintage of the series just because nobody wanted to buy it!

Got another memorial three coin set from @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer  Full and quarter sovs seem fine but serious frosting issues with the half - never had a coin that bad in terms of frosting holes / issues before - usually dings, scratches and debris!

£1589 are we in a dip yet @Paul 🤷‍♂️
