  1. I hear you. But what I was trying to say was unless RM sees this as a problem then nothing changes. Buyers who are of TSF community could well be more picky or demanding than most average punters. So if there are only a small percentage of returns, then RM will see this as acceptable.
  2. Interesting to note from the graph that there was a tail-off after 1982 in mintages. I wonder if this was purely down to low demand for sovereigns.
  3. Unless it hurts their bottom line, then I suspect nothing will change in terms of quality control. Afterall, aren't there a queue of people online scrambling to buy from them whenever there is a new release ! So what is the problem !?
  4. I suppose this is the new adnormal. Those in power wants to control all aspect of our lives including what to think and what not to buy !
  5. I prefer the 24K variety but also have 22K ones. You could have done a poll to see what percentage members prefer. 👍
  6. Hello! Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new hobby. You will soon learn how quickly this hobby can empty your wallet ! 😅
  7. On the TSF Menu, Browse > Trading Feedback
  8. I don't get it ! Why would anyone want to pay £650 per bullion sovereign ! Could you not built the same collection yourself for half the price !? What is so special about this collection put together by RM ? Please clarify and educate me if I've got the wrong end of the stick.
  9. A lovely 2021 Proof 150g Silver Panda. (Maximum mintage 60,000). Picked up this coin a while ago. Ordered a 2022 edition too. Awaiting delivery. 👍
  10. Hello! Welcome to the forum 🤗 It shouldn't be too difficult to find nice gold bullion coins in Singapore. Even the high street gold jewellers have plenty for sale when I last visited.
  11. Sellers on flea bay have to factor in the charges. On there the fees are normally based on the percentage of the final price. It was 10% when I last sold on flea bay some 4 years. Then there's paypal charges and postage cost (if free postage). The seller's asking price of £28 might receive around £23 after fees. I have seen Canadian 1oz Maples being sold here for £22 last month. Have a look at the sold listings.
  12. How much silver is needed in a crisis? I'll say enough to sink a boat ! Which is probably why some members here keeps losing their silver in boating accidents. 😬
  13. As the saying goes: buy the coin, not the slab ! 😇
  14. Welcome to the forum. As others have said, keep an eye on the Buy&Sell section of the forum.
  15. if you're thinking of selling the coin in the near future, then keep it in the card holder. Some collectors like them in their original package untouched. But if you're not thinking of selling, then do as you please - place it in a capsule.
  16. Hello! Welcome to the forum. This is a good place to learn about collecting gold and silver.
