The legendary Aladeen

The Aladeen has recently found a new home, after its previous owner, on his second holding of said coin finally managed to shift it.

This lucky person rightfully changed their profile picture to the Aladeen. But, they used the obverse and not the reverse side, tut tut.

The Aladeen is a glorious coin, which has not been truly appreciated, so I will give you all a history lesson.

In 1979, the Iranian people said "enough" out with the Pastramis. Lead by papa Khomeini, a new coin was born, the Aladeen.

It's a lustrous coin that I recommend every user hold in their hands at least once. So far, since jailbreaking it from Atkinsons, this coin has passed hands 6 times I believe. It is a majestic coin, so much so, that I was going to buy it back for a third time.

I have lost about £30 on beautiful coin, but I don't care. The Aladeen is a joy, even the resident hoover bought it twice.

When I have enough spare money and don't impulse buy anything else, I am ringing Chards, and I will acquire the Khomeini head Aladeen, as an obverse of a mullah is clearly much better than ornate calligraphy.

The current Aladeen owner will likely sell it soon, as is the way, I implore you...experience this coin in hand.

Are you sure the one you bought is genuine?

Now for a slightly more accurate history:

In 2013 the Royal mail was privatised and for the first time, profits actually mattered. From this the Aladeen was created, in the following 10 years it has changed hands once a week, generating a total of £3614 £3621 in postage costs, (to date), and thus becoming one of the most profitable coins ever.

With the Aladeen safely retrieved, it's tenure as TSF mascot can continue.

Unfortunately, I shall have to hold it for an unforeseeable period of time, depriving the next lucky owner of a chance to experience history.

Why must I hold it? Because there's a snek in the grass, one intent on destroying our cultural heritage. This actor wants to remove the Aladeen from us.

Ideas don't die, nor will the Aladeen.

Oh no, it almost got caught up in spyders' web! Good job for re-purchasing the Aladeen for the 8th time @Solachesis, take it off the hands of the bad guys 👏
