Hey guys hope everyone is well I have three lovely Pamp bars for sale below.

1g £70

2.5g £160

10g £570

I would accept £750 for them all.

Or combination of either 2 of the 3 as follows:

1g & 2.5g = £225

1g & 10g = £630

2.5g & 10g = £715

Payment via bank transfer would suffice also postage is payable by you and your choice.E7A2CCA7-DF2B-43CC-8FD5-85E3326E15F7.thumb.jpeg.f68becb87a3f281e8c838890d910553c.jpeg559B3A45-A119-4BF0-81C2-9160203BA7D9.thumb.jpeg.764ad09f9c08acd993039bc08462f0a9.jpeg

Don’t beat yourself up, I don’t think you’ve done anything wrong.

Some of the more established members may be put off that you don’t yet have any selling/buying feedback and that’s in no way a criticism but we all have to start somewhere.

Have a look at your pricing and to be fair today has been a very difficult day to sell gold, it’s gone up and down faster than you can sneeze.

Please don’t be put off selling here. @BackyardBullion offers an intermediary service which could be an option for you.

I can really only speak on the 1g bars. They are expensive. I think 1g is roughly £50 right now. Your price is in line with dealers. I never see anyone on here paying anywhere near dealer prices. More in line would be looking at what the dealers would buy them from you then add a bit on in my experience.

a 10g gold 999.9  metalor bar from atkinsons at the time of writing this is £546.00 including insured postage.

i know yours is a pamp and may be more desireable to some buyers. in my own opinion

10g of gold is 10g of gold  which is how i look at it 😃

Hi, welcome to the forum.

The listing hasn't been online for even a whole day yet so just give it some time. Some items do get snapped up in minutes on the forum but waiting a couple of days isn't exactly a slow sale here.

The feedback may put some users off but sometimes new members would post to established members and accept payment on receipt or for bigger lots sometimes use the service mentioned above.

The bars themselves look good and photos are fine but it's been a volatile couple of weeks for gold so many will be sitting on their hands waiting for a pull back (rather than buying at the current high)

Personally I've a few bars in the stack but only tend to pick them up if they're very cheap as I prefer coins. I'd typically expect to buy and sell for a price on here that is less than to the 'big' dealers also.

Pricing is always a fine balance but I'd check 3 or 4 of the online dealers prices for similar products and go a little lower.

Feel free to 'report' my reply if you want it removed from the sales thread once you've read it but seeing as you asked I felt it appropriate to reply here.

👍🏽

Thanks for the response. At the prices in selling at I’m still making a slight loss but they are cheaper than any other site. The price has came down a tad bit and I know PAMP is kind of niche but I know 10 grams of gold is 10g lol. Either way if someone wanted to specifically buy Palm bars these are still cheaper than all other sites and brand new not had them long and I not tampered with .

Now that I know you have bought recently and from a dealer, I can understand you're pricing but unfortunately most people on here are to savy/experienced to be paying such prices...we've all been there and made exactly the same mistakes which is why the forum is a great place.

I just think you are in the wrong cycle if that makes sense....anything I've bought recently will not even be considered for sale for at least a year or two ( spot price dependant)

Sell some older stuff that's in profit or break even stage and keep the new/premium stuff for down the line, you have done the hard part ( the gold is now yours, enjoy it a little until the time is right)

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Tbh and without being rude

you need to factor in the risk of purchasing from you as opposed to buying from a reputable dealer

and way up the saving to risk of that is it worth it

Yes I have made sure that the prices I listed at the time of posting were all considerably cheaper than any online dealer. I know how the games works. Any dealer sell above spot and buy below spot. So buying and selling privately seems the way to go. It’s just getting that rep up so people can trust in you and vouch for you. Hopefully I can earn my stripes on this for forum. I think you've received a lot of positive feedback and honest opinion. Maybe consider the pricing on a daily basis as the market is so volatile at the moment? For example, as I type this, you can buy a 10g Gold Pamp Bar from a main dealer for £537 delivered. I think potential buyers would select that option over a member with no feedback. Good luck with the sale. Hope all goes well.

I would recommend this as a way of getting sales. I wanted to sell a quarter of my stack shortly after joining the forum and quickly appreciated that a members' reputation is everything. Why would anyone send potentially hundreds of pounds to someone they know nothing about?

This way you pay @BackyardBullion  a fee to basically verify the goods as the metal they are claimed to be. He takes photos of them on his sigma machine and as people buy them he sends them out to customers direct so that there is no doubt as to their legitimacy.

I found the fee to be very reasonable all things considered, and the process allowed my reputation to be established. I don't really need to sell any more, but if I did, people just look me up and see positive reactions from everyone who has ever bought from me and then feel reassured to make the purchase.

This is a relatively small community of essentially anonymous people who buy and sell precious metals in confidence as it is not in any (regular) sellers interest to get caught out with fakes, as their name would be mud going forward. Integrity is everything.

Or sometimes people sell and offer to post out before payment so that a customer can verify themselves if they have the means?? Indeed I did this for a 1/4oz of gold.

And with prices, I was aware that I should be asking a reasonable amount less than a dealer. If the asking price was only a little less or equal to the dealer, why wouldn't a customer just buy from the dealer with all their professional guarantees🤷.

You might not get as much as you want for any precious metal but on the flip side, if buying, you can pick things up for less too.

I hope you take my words in the spirit they are meant, I have no affiliation with @BackyardBullion or anyone else, I just like to buy slightly discounted coins and bars from time to time for my kids.

Once you get established, the forum will be your oyster.

Good luck going forward 👍.

Perhaps I should also add that I didn't look you up before I wrote the above, so I have no idea of your current status.

People will always look a seller up, it's only natural, so being on the scene, getting involved a bit helps too. It helps get your name out there, and sort of shows that you are not trying to fleece anyone and then disappear into the sunset.

Of course, there will always be rogues, but I think this forum serves legitimate people well.

And sorry, not in the market for Pamp bars right now🤣🤷!!
