It’s even worse, 3d is only 1.5p. Maybe the football fans were still bathing in the joy of winning a year earlier, I don’t recall that personally, but they are still going on about it to this day - yawn!!!

How difficult is it to do a quick google search. After all, they do have internet or they could not bid on ebay.

No where did the seller state that it was 22ct gold.  One  second research would have told any buyer that there is no 2g sovereign dated 1922 P. 

Looks like three were sold.

Yesterday I reported some fake Swiss watches on ebay... and they've actually done something!!

They messaged to say the listings were being taken down. And now they're gone. It must be a Christmas miracle.

Well done! Imagine how many 100’s of millions if not billions they have made with people selling counterfeit goods over the years.
