I had an internet provider that started taking several payments out daily from my account its a horrible feeling when its out of control . They were impossible to contact . I had to go to my bank and sort it out even then it was difficult to put a stop to 😱

A friend had an online account hacked, they ordered something to their own address so when my mate got access back to his account he got the address and phone number and went crazy put a load of ads up in all the local groups that he (the scammer) collects scrap fridges and to drop them off at his address amoungst other things

I remember seeing these scams on ebay almost 10 years ago. Always a pile of crappy foreign coins or worthless modern Cu-Ni British small change with what looks like a gold sovereign tucked in there. No mention of restrikes or any details other than "found in grandad's loft" or similar. Always a disclaimer that the seller knows nothing about coins etc.
