Hello from the Netherlands!

Hi guys,

New here, as a small collector(not that big budget that other guys have), but very interested in the silver bullions over the last years, and just this week started with coins.

Collected me some 100 gram bars as I like them the most of all, but with 21% VAT in NL it makes them expensive, around 68 euro's at the moment. This week got me my first coins, a 1 Oz and 10 Oz Kookaburra 2018. Man, I really love them!

Hope some of us could share more and more info, and maybe help each other out as I see there is a lot of shipping costs questions and problems. I don't mind to arrange something when needed..

(Promise I will be more subtle than Danish people ;) , just kiddin'!)

Welkom op het forum !!!!

Bedankt! Zijn er veel Nederlanders te vinden hier? Volgens mij leeft het bij ons niet zo?

(Just saying; Thanks, are there many dutch people here? Don't think it is quite popular in our country).

There not to many Dutch people on this forum, most of them are collecting euro's or older Dutch coins. But this is a great forum if you are in gold and silver coins!!!

Such a cliche hahaha, we all live in windmills, grow our own tulips, and walk in wooden shoes! And the worst of all, "going Dutch" is something we all do! ;)

Welcome. Another of the few Dutchmen on here reporting :)

Wie weet kunnen we nog eens samen bestellen uit de UK, de verzendkosten is echt een hickup...

I just had a carpenter from the Netherland

He did indeed walk around in wooden shoes every day

Did a very good job, and had mowed to Sweden a few years back

I'm so grateful I'm a native English speaker as I for one, probably like most Brits am hopeless at languages. Thank goodness all you good non UK folk speak and write English - far better than many native born UK citizens!

Oh, I forgot, I do speak three languages ....LOL, English, Kiwi and 'Strine (Australian) ?

Compliment taken here! I speak 4 languages, that being English, Dutch, German, and a little bit of Greek. Next to that I can understand South African, as it is almost Dutch...
