The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. What you think of it? I'm still not sure

Yeah, I like it. The touches of colour don't make it feel like a coloured coin. Less sure about the gem in the middle.

It's hard to make the background look correct in the photos. It's not black, it's shiny.

1887 double sovereign from HGM

To me it looks a lot like the William sovereign I had that you guys all thought was dodgy, because it's quite shiny with a lot of little scratches that make it look dimpled. What do you guys think?

One tube of salt water crocs.

Starting to take an interest in numismatics.

Hi Stretch - I thought you were a gold fan? I know the feeling - getting drawn to silver numi and proofs (Libertads my fav, and I feel the need to buy some kooks),, but I know I should really be buying gold!

If I may ask - why these crocs?

I'am a gold fan yes but only discovered vat free silver in August so I'm now keen to stack plenty silver too. At least till my gold and silver values are roughly even.

I choose the crocs because now I do have a few tubes of most of the cheap coins and crocs were only a little more expensive. I have since noticed that STG has changed their premiums as the spot fell the crocs haven't gone down in price as much as other coins.
