It wouldn't surprise me if the seller has managed to find an unopened box from the printers, because the book looks like it has never seen the light of day since it left the printers in 1982. It is impossible to find a better condition book anywhere in the world, and certainly you won't find it cheaper

He has done an updated edition in recent years.........I'll be getting that one as well, as soon as I can find one cheap enough

I ordered the Half Sovereign book too. Good spot Highland Tiger. Michael Marsh's books are pretty much the last word on the subject.

 

I ummed and ahhed but pulled the trigger on 50 Maples on Monday which have already arrived. Glad I did now, haven't seen an uptick like today's for a while...so much for trying to correct my G/S ratio however .....

The order I received the other day had 20 2014 Britannia's with the Horse privy just checked them all and they are all in very good condition.

 

I do like the 2015 Kookaburras but as ever any of the Perth mint silver is great.

Belarus Year of the Sheep.

I bought it at the start of September and it got as far as Heathrow then got sent back to Belarus. The seller resent it and it arrived quick time.

No pics as it's too shiny.
