Nice pick ups, welcome to the party 🙂
Just watch those premiums, keep track of what you paid versus spot while it's still early and you can still capture that info. The main goal in life of a stacker is trying to reduce that damn bottom line average premium 🤣

After 35 years, It was Brian the Postman's last day carrying the post in a quaint little village
When he arrived at the first house on his route, he was greeted by the whole family who thanked him for his service and sent him on his way with a tidy gift envelope.

At the second house, they presented him with a box of fine cigars and Irish Whiskey. "Good Luck to ye, Brian!" They called after him.

The folks at the third house handed him a selection of hand-made fishing lures. "Fer yer free time!" They had said.

At the fourth house, he was met at the door by a strikingly beautiful blonde woman in an open robe, leaving little to the imagination. She took him by the hand, gently led him inside. She then took him up the stairs to the bedroom where she gave him the most passionate love making that he had ever experienced.

When they had finished, they went downstairs and she fixed him a proper breakfast tray of eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, waffles, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. When he was truly satisfied, she poured him a cup of steaming coffee.

After all was said and done, he noticed a pound coin in the corner of the tray. "I've had such a wonderful time," he said, "but what's the pound for?"

"Well," she said, "Last night, I told my husband that today would be your last day, and that we should do something special for you. He said, 'Screw him! Give him a pound'...but the breakfast was my idea."

I'm not with the HGM press department (honestly 😄) so I'm not saying they're faultless here by any means. Just saying if you really want a resolution, it seems odd to me not to pick up the phone after the emails didn't work for whatever reason.

I think your negative experience would hold a lot more weight if you'd made a phone call. I remain convinced you'd have got a fair resolution. You can argue on principle you shouldn't have to call them, sure I agree, but in practice they've always been very helpful when I've spoken to them.
Ultimately when you boil it down to the bare bones, they made a mistake and either sent the wrong coin or listed the wrong coin. Not good. Then communications failed as your emails don't appear to have reached anyone, which could be as simple as a tech issue. They don't advertise email as a form of contact interestingly, although if you dig hard enough there is a message form on their website. They really try to direct people to the phone for queries.

Done.... Think it came out fairly well. Lined the inside with 100% cotton (from a tshirt) so it is nice and smooth/soft in there. The outside is an old red 100% cotton pillow case. It reminds of burlap I really dont know what it would be called.
The drawstrings are dress shoe laces. At the rate things are going I probably wont be wearing dress clothes to work for a long time... Enjoy and let me know what ya think.

Nothing remarkable about these to many people, just personal to me and kids, as they were presents from their grandfather when we visited the Guernsey Mint.
Might be wrong but I believe they are Victor Hugo “doubles”. Wasn’t many years after the return from this trip, he left us but this visit stuck with them as they remember the gift, Bruce giving them a tour and letting them have a gold bar to hold, insisting they had their photos taken in his showroom.
So although they had birth coins and date runs (I’m now motivated to complete), this in their minds will be what they remember as the start of their stacking experience. For that reason alone, these two gifts will always be the most precious and priceless.
