lol it gets Silverfingers OCD proof seal of approval, its one of the nicest I seen in a long time, my favourite part of it is where the date is and the surrounding, I just had a really nice coin arrive (and my largest yet) its too dark here now to photograph it, it will have to wait till tomorrow.

I love those Aussie florins, the reverse is more like a beautiful medal than a coin imo,  one of those is on my bosses wishlist, stonking example there, still waiting for my two coins, I have seen loads I would like this week, must resist buying more it is so addictive, especially when something that looks nice and has a really low starting bid/buy it now price.

First south African rands- great sized coins and high silver content for the date!
Finally an opening of parliament florin. Really love Aussie .925 and think that the portrait of KGV is great- shame it wasnt the same portrait used for GB coins!

A couple of dates added this week, also means I have completed the year 1883

Freshly back from grading two US pre 1933 coins. One half eagle and one quarter eagle. Great grade on the 1905 but super pleased the 1913 is genuine and not details. The hunt goes on....

These are impressive coins although looking at the top Registry Set and the census decent UNC examples seem to be a bit of a challenge.

In my view putting together sets of quality early 20th century silver from lots of places in the world is surprisingly difficult, including Edward VII and George V, and a well worth long term project 
- pity the Napoleonic period was early 19th century as my funds would go much further! Although I may need some 'side projects'

I love those 2.5 Gulden coins, they are high on my wishlist, there is lots out there but I have yet to find my AUNC / UNC one from the time period I am collecting, I won 2 more coins in auctions, just the wait now till they arrive (if they do) , and if they are any good.

Some world silvers also arrived this morning Would ordinarily be excited to receive these but was a tad overshadowed by the gold this morning 😂
Another 2.5 gulden this time with the seahorse privy mark- these really are some of the best looking (and biggest) world silvers out there.
Lovely Edward VII florin- one of the best British coin designs of the 20th century in my opinion.

A few more for you to browse- thanks @richatthecroft for the libertad which I purchased with my nectar points on ebay! my first gold libertad and although small, looks excellent in the NGC holder. Again thanks to @Numistacker for the submission and making the seemingly daunting process effortless.
Very happy with my grades and first submissions

I got this tiny beauty in an auction today for only £1.25 exc p+p, its a Dutch 10 Cents, 1944 dated, made of 64% silver, these coins were made for the Dutch colonies during WW2 by the USA in various mints, the mint that made this one, the Philidephia Mint (a P and Acorn privvy) was by far the most numerous with a huge 120 million being minted in that year.
As always pictures never seem to do my coins justice, sorry for the bits of pollen on my workbench, we have a forest at the bottom of the garden and its forever shedding into workshop.

I'm new to silver, but definitely developing a preference for bars... 😍
