Today I received  - - - - >>  a gorgeous 1918 "India" sovereign thanks to @gold

I was feeling really left out with my daughter's massive amount of Unicorn presents they got this Christmas so I got myself one too.
A 2 oz Unicorn Silver round from @SilverStan at PreciousGoldandSilver. Awesome service and prompt delivery.
While i was there, i got myself one of their (Joint Silverstan and a silver forum member creation) custom Brexit 50p (Not PM though). I think i'll make it my everyday carry!

Albeit that I have allowed myself some nice distractions along the way, I have finally added these two year dates to complete the eight released ‘red box’ editions of Half Sovereigns.  This in my wider quest to fill a 1980 through to present day, date run of Half Proof Sovereigns.  How I admire these little coins.

In India on annual leave visited MMTC Pamp retail store and purchased some premium silver coins not available outside of India


Each silver animal coin has unique almost proof like reverse that has the associated feature for that animal

Missing some animals to complete the collection hoping to acquire before returning back to the UK.

Picked up a 1910 Half Sovereign MS65 highest graded. Was up for £435 & got seller down to £399, they also agreed to change the listing to collectables so saved myself another 10%
 

Just ordered this gem single highest graded by NGC & none at PCGS so happy with it.

Nice one cant believe i got this today from rm looks lovely

1977 commemorative silver jubilee proof, from the local coin shop

1937 1/2 PR66CAM.
I like the plain edge design. Kind of want to get a raw version now to have a closer look! (Bigger coin would be nice too 😂)

Bought this for my football crazy eldest son for a Christmas gift, the coin shares his birth year too. Nice coin this one. 


And this arrived today, almost 200 pages of Sovereign pornography .  
Unfortunately, it was snatched from me shortly after the photo was taken. I’m told by my wife I will be reunited with it on Christmas morning.

Also this week had a batch of coins come back from PCGS following conservation and grading.
Have photos below of the Chinese pandas pre and post conservation. They have come up really well. 
Also am very pleased with the outcomes on the sovereigns achieving PF70DCAM for the 1980 & 2002 and PF69DCAM for the 1979 (PCGS don't have a 70 for the 1979 on their population list and I think there is only one NGC70).

Not a bad wee haul on the way home from work.  From £40 of £2 coins and £60 of 50 pences.  Quite a few i didn't have. Rubbish photo, sorry.
