Got my first sovereign today. I took a punt with Atkinson's random bullion lucky dip and crossed my fingers that I didn't get a veiled head Victoria. 
Nothing special but I'm happy with this as my first. I may have to change my username.

Nothing special to most here but chuffed with my first PM purchase, a 2017 full sovereign.  Hopefully the first of many!

My very first Sovereign! The 2017 Strike on the Day! Let it be the start of a great collection!  

I received my order from France Mint (Monnaie de Paris) today. The face value silver coins are "normal" but I would like to share this heavy medal (350 grams, 85% copper + 15% zinc). Using a one-euro coin as scale reference of this 75mm medal. It depicts the grand Forbidden City Palace of Beijing, with a modern touch of bicycles and rickshaw on the reverse side.

 

1981 1/4 Onza, beautiful coin with full cartwheel. Hard to get a good picture of this coin but definitely heading to NGC this fall for grading. Should be an MS64+

My last Libertad of 2017...the elusive 1/20 oz Gold Proof Libertad.  Off to NGC she goes tomorrow!

A rather lovely birthday present arrived in perfect time this morning. The BP on the reverse is much smaller than the ones I have on my other G&D sovereigns (1905 onwards). Is this normal for a Victoria YH G&D?

2002 full proof sov ,, was advertised on ebay and sold as a bullion  somone must seen this?!

These 1/4 ozs arrived the other day.

Jubilee Prussian Double Crown or 20 Goldmark and Sovereign from the same year. 
Nephew and Uncle one year before becoming opponents in The Great War. 
(The 20 Goldmark is thinner and slightly larger but contains less weight and gold than the sovereign)
 

Today - bought and received at the London Coins auction, just a couple of common sovereigns - but always good to buy gold at a reasonable price. A whole load of sovereigns up for sale. 
1912 London and 1920 Perth full sovereigns. Reasonable condition, nothing special..but I did avoid a lot of the ex- jewellery stuff. 

well not quite true not today, I actually got theses last week but I have not had chance to post , anyway nothing special billion coins, two 1/20 gold libs 2017, obtained from a forum company supporter, they were not expensive and cheaper than gold.be at the time . sorry for poor images but you get the subject.

1999 silver libertad....no 70 on ngc so very very happy with a 69
2008 1/4 gold libertad. 69 top grade on ngc so happy with a 68 and only 3 in each grade.
1996 1/4 gold lunar year of rat 70....very very happy with that
