It was quite a few years ago I purchased them.  Where would you suggest I look for a reasonable price to sell them for? I have emailed atkinsons and I’m awaiting a quote.  I would sell them on here but I have no idea how much to ask for them as some of the prices on Google seem way to high.

I've been out of the gold game for a while so I’m not up on numismatic prices of coins.   I’ve got a $10, $5 and $2.5 set of Indian head coins that I’m considering selling.  Why do the $2.5 dollar coins have such a premium these days?  They weren’t that expensive when I purchased them a few years ago!!

It is a beautiful coin though.  They do usually command quite a premium but that does seem rather high.

@Kookaburracollector @augur both are in good condition.  Maybe I should contact numi and get the best one graded if the price difference is that much.  I will take some pics when the sun come back up and the lighting is better

I agree.  The 20 franga coin is by far my favourite coin of the series.   They are beautiful and worth the premium.  I have one more coin to go to hit 30 different coins of the LMU..... what to get that’s the question 🧐

I got a nice little 20 lei from toshy yesterday 😁.  Collection is coming along nicely. 

It is good quality. Its got some great pics in it, I think they sent it to me because I bought a 20 franga off them a while back.  There’s a few pieces I’d love to bid on but they’re all well out of my price range!! I mite put a cheeky bid in you never kno 😁.

But it s really genuinely beautiful ; sometimes I get upset to pay a lot of premium for an average-looking coin but that one is well-deserved.

I also many times feel that you really like or dislike a coin once you manipulate it in hand and look at it with a magnifier. Sometimes you expect a coin to he a bit ugly on photo but you like it once in Hans - or vice versa.

This happens to me all the time. I buy a coin I’ve wanted for a long time and when it comes I’m disappointed.  Vice versa also. I recently bought a Ceres head 20f and it when it came it was a gorgeous coin.

I'm tempted with your buy thread.  I’ve got my eye on the Spanish coin and the Carlo felice..... I’ll have to have a think 😁.

The 20 francs rooster is a good looking coin. I have a 20f angel as my ‘lucky coin’.  I even want to be buried with it when the inevitable happens 😂.   It was my first 20 franc and that coin ain’t going nowhere haha. 

I thought the 20 perpera was LMU spec.... oh well one less to have to buy and it looks like I got my Carlos wrong 😃

Haha I imagine a complete date run on any coin is hard to achieve. I couldn’t collect the same coin over and over.  A bit of variety is the spice of so they say 😉.

That’s a fantastic price!! It’s one of the more difficult coins to get too.

I looked for the 20 lire San Marino the other day and couldn’t find one for sale anywhere. A beautiful coin and a truly rare find.

Here is the 20 dinara Yugoslavia coin.  A Nice little addition to my collection.  I also had the le franc poche book.  From what I’ve read in it so far it seems pretty good 😃.  If anyone would like a pic of a specific coin page let me know.  There are more variations to some coins than I previously realised.
