We have today banned a new member who was found to be abusing/manipulating the trading feedback system to create false feedback on trades that never took place on TSF.

The decision to ban was also made as we also believed that this person could have posed a potential trading risk to TSF members. TSF prides itself on having one of, if not the, most honest online marketplaces for trading precious metals. This year alone there have been over 5046 new trade topics started, with many trade topics containing huge lists of precious metals items for sale. I fully agree on the memorial, it's such a beautiful design, that's the one my family have commented most on, they know nothing about coins but gravitate to that one.
 It's the first sov of a new monarch so I can't see it not being valuable long term and I'm keeping my eye out for cheap graded doubles and quintuples, I think people will be kicking themselves for missing these later on
 

That's annoying, they have just refunded me for one of mine instead of sending a replacement. I am presuming that if I now send back this other damaged one I will not get a replacement for it either. Poor show from the royal mint in my opinion. 

If the quality of them all are the same as the quarters I've had I doubt many will gain a PF70.

That's a shame, though. We should all be getting a near perfect piece. Thats the whole point of tge proof. They should be made accountable.

I very much appreciate your point, mine is that I see it all as distraction, as we are busy discussing the rates and the response of the BoE, while we should be discussing instead the reasons driving those changes. It's all smoke and mirrors.

Has the quality control always been this poor in regards to proof coins from directly from main mints, i.e., Royal mint? Or is it because they have been changing design so much of late?
I have recently received 2 of the new KCII proof quarter sovereigns, both of which have now had to be sent back for replacement because of damage to the coins.
Both were scratched and marked and, in general, not what you would expect for a premium product. 
I had a similar experience when ordering the IOM coronation coin from another mint. That went back for a refund.
These have been my first experiences with buying proof coins, and I'm not too impressed. 
If you're after the best quality, It seems better to wait a while and buy a graded proof, once, other other people have filtered out the best of the bunch. 

These sorts of problems are not new and I really haven't seen any commitment to improving anything. Receiving replacements that are also poor quality is also still happening.
