Never had a "bad" experience with Royal Mail Special Delivery personally. The "before 1pm" is a bit of a joke, but they've never not attempted delivery on the day.
My only nitpick would be that if you miss the delivery, they don't let you reschedule for the next day for some weird reason, it's always the day after.

I used to get upset about silver Britannias arriving as though they'd been delivered by the Milk Man, but I've learnt to ignore it. Silver is Silver, and Gold is Gold. Apparently.

They didn't start dating until 2003, and I imagine the design for the 2003 Proof Britannia would have been completed in 2002.
I can see some resemblance. Maybe Philip Nathan was Catherine's beau before she met William?
