My favourite silver round has that written on the treasure chest!  Welcome to silverbug island.  Complete with an "X marks the spot" and a boating accident as well

Indeed. Is it the old adage "if you don't hold it you don't own it"?
As we've recently seen Switzerland has recently become impartial after breaking it silence over the Ukraine. I wonder if that has got some people rattled and worried about the security of their PMs? Would be interesting to see if there is other capital flight out of Switzerland as well

Public notice on BullionVaults website of Gold and Silver withdrawal from their Zurich vault.

    Gold - 7 400Oz bars or for a total of 2,799.745 ounces.
Silver - 128 1000Oz bars or for a total of 123,455.409 ounces. A little shy of 3.9 tons
That's the biggest withdrawal I've seen from them from any of their vaults over the last few years.
Not sure what to make of this fully but it sure is interesting that at a time of extremes as we are seeing, there is a large withdrawal.

It used to be well above average, but the market swings of the last month have meant that if you just look at the last 5 weeks trading data it doesn't look that out of character.

As you can see from the gold it is about equal from the 24th Feb, that was an attempt to desperately get it back below $1900.
But when you think that the physical out the ground amount of silver is only 1 billion ounces, give or take 10%, to trade half a years mining capability inside a day is insane.

There are other factors as well, this is a massive over simplification of a system designed to be too complex for 99.9% of the people on this planet to understand. Obfuscation is the name of the game

I'd say, let the post stand, we already have far to much censoring of speech, let the fact by the nature of the replies be the validation. Maybe but maybe Bleyer should be consulted, if anything. I would say they are far better off with the thread as it is and the wonderful replies that have shown them in a good light.

Ooof that is a young looking Andrew Maguire!

But spot on there Bully.  Also worth noting, the reason or one of the reasons they aspire to hate PMs is that it shows up what a ponzi scheme FIAT currency really is. If you look at how little inflation there was when gold and silver was used as money. Then once they abolished the silver standard in the late 1800's and then the gold standard in the 70's, it's been a race to the bottom to debase the global "super powers" currencies.

The Banks have the power over the price and essentially everything. Anything "paper" from mortgages, futures, you name it is all a scam. The only thing that can fail is paper agreements as the physical nature of Silver and Gold tangible.
The Financial system is an illusion and most people are sucked into the deception, more importantly the dollar.
Put it this way @Rains, stack metals, make sure you have it in your hand (possession), dont be deceived into companies promising to store it for you, never mind a futures contract.
The financial system is nothing more than a public/taxpayer-hostage slush fund, we are essentially bailing them out every single day through our labour. Its a joke.

Theyve done it every week since the futures markets was created banks and bullion banks hate gold and silver, because they want to control the markets JP Morgan own a lot of silver physical. The banks take turns rigging the markets many have been charged for doing so through spoofing prices through manipulation, but they make money but shorting the market through paper shorts.

    Want anymore evidence?
Also the fines they get are minimal compared to the amount of times they been doing it they make money hand over first on the COMEX.

Andrew maguire first blew the whistle on the silver rigging and to this day its happening still

Putin just abolished VAT on physical gold in Russia.

News is slowly creeping out into the English speaking media on this subject.  My understanding is that up until yesterday, gold was VAT free only as a paper investment, but for physical gold, individuals had to pay VAT.  Not sure if that was a margin scheme system or if it was on the whole value of the bullion, but it has apparently now been abolished on precious metals.  Not quite sure where silver sits in that.  I assume that more details will come out on kitco and zerohedge in the coming days.
