    Milk spots

Good question, maybe the chemicals they use now ?
  2. No problem, so a price of 22,89 USD/ ounce.
  3. LOL, I agree with that price fork but can you please choose just the number you think it will be. 😇 1721 USD/ ounce silver this year ?
  4. So BYB does not give extra's to his customers, good to know ... 🤣
  5. I know the squeezers predicted prices between at least 50-100 USD/ ounce silver this year and many others thought a price of 35 USD would be the minimum, but what do you all think ?? My prediction is a price of 24 USD/ ounce.
  6. Extra free silver and free milkspotting as an other extra, the mints are giving just to much to their customers ... 😇 🤣
  7. Correct, it are pieces of art ! And the creations of Silver Dragons are just beautiful, he also has a big Youtube channel, he is from the US. ( BYB products are also beautiful btw )
  8. The same here, I had the chance to buy poured silver from Silver Dragons here in a LCS in Belgium for spott + 10%, best silver investing I did ever. They look just beautiful and are so much more worth on the second hand market. Last silver pieces I would ever sell.
  9. Very nice collection, nice eyes catchers !
  10. If it is just for getting a non-numismatic piece of silver back nice and shiny, why not just use a silver polish product for coins ? I used the baking soda way once and I think it is so much work to get it really clean, so using a special product to clean coins is so much easier. ( I use it for really dirty 90% junk silver coins, just because they look nicer when they are clean, value wise it does not make an impact because it is junk silver ... )
  11. Marketing it is 100%, a new member and all his postings are about this coin ... For me it is a big NO GO, but that is just my opinion.
  12. I had the same idea, that's the amount for a silver coin ...

    Milk spots

I have Perth mint coins from 2013 when I started stacking/ collecting. Never saw milkspotting on them but all most all of them are in a bank safe so it can be that they have got some in the meantime. The reason I was surprised because I always read that the Perth Mint was the only mint with no issues, looks like that was wrong to think ... I like silver, but gold is so much easier, low premiums, no problems like milkspotting, ...

    Coin minting cost

The Mints take of course a higher profit margin on a proof coin because it is a "premium" product. One extra cost with a proof coin is that the dice they make for it will only be used a few times so the cost/ coin is much higher. But it would be very interesting to know how much the average cost is for the mintage of one BU coin, with a high mintage number ?

    Milk spots

I saw in a youtube video a few days ago that also the Aussie Kangaroo ( he spoke about the 2021 mintage ) had milkspot problems. Never had milkspotting on Perth Mint products, anybody here that knows they now also have problems ?
  16. I think one of the reasons why is because people don't see the amount on their savings account changing ( except when they do a transaction of course ) while when they look at the gold price they see it changing every second. That they can buy less and less with that amount, they just don't understand, as long as the amount is not changing ...
  17. So you made a nice profit on it, not bad for a coin you did not liked because of the milkspotting issue ! 👏
  18. I think that in a SHTF scenario you are always screwed, PM's or not. In a scenario like Turkey it is different. Let say you want to save for a car or a house, if you put it on your savings account, you will have to save for ever while if you buy every month your savings in gold you can sell it when you have the amount needed without the big inflation loss.
  19. Why not, it makes it special and if you like it, better for you. I like the Queen side a little bit more than the other side but I don't dislike it. Maybe a stupid question, but if you go with that coin to a LCS, will they want to buy it or give you a price what is big under spott price ?
  20. After reading most of this topic I can only say that silver is a Pm that likes to attract conspiracies ... Since the start of the pandemic, there was not one moment I could not buy new silver BU coins of all the mints around the world. Perth Mint coins were always available in big quantities.
  21. Yes and no. All coins are getting grated, even the newest bullion coins are sold grated. The grading a coin will get, will of course impact the value. But "grading" and it's impact is not so simple to explain because it depends ons so many things like: the year the coins was minted, the mintage of the coin, proof or not, ... If you are interested in this topic I advice you to read online, or watch some youtube videos about grading and open a new topic if you have more questions about it.
