  1. It looks like platinum is not so popular on the forum ...
  2. I never bought platina before but I want to get into it as an extra precious metal next to my gold and silver stack but what is bet to buy ? At Goldsilver.be I saw this nice Kookaburra 1/10 OZ coin for 128 euro (https://goldsilver.be/nl/home/4049-perth-mint-110-oz-platinum-kookaburra-2021-bu-15.html ) with a mintage of 15000 pieces or should I better go for a 1 ounce coin for around 1050-1100 euro with no limited mintage ? I think the price difference is not so high in comparison with 1/10 golden coins, certainly not for a limited Kookaburra. But I have no idea about the platina market so I have no Idea what to buy best ...

    Time to sell?

Here in Belgium you can buy at every webshop or LCS as many gold as you will, there is no shortage at all. Maybe it has something to do with the Brexit ?
  4. Many times it are coins that are already sold and later bought back but who are still in a good conditions so they can still be sold as BU coins.
  5. I buy my silver at a LCS near my home, but they only have second hand silver but cheap, for a bar it's 10% over spott price in total or at www.goldsilver.be I buy most of my new silver, cheapest in Europe for most items.

    Excited

I am always jealous when I see those American video's where they go to there LCS or can even buy online for a small amount and get free shipping ... Because the lowest shipping here is 25 euro I never have a real small order. I only have one LCS in my area with good prices but they don't sell new coins so I by my LMU golden coins and junk ( 90% ) silver there but that is not the same feeling. Junk silver is good for stacking but it does not give me pleasure. At the moment I am waiting for a big order to arrive and yes, it is like a young child waiting to unwrap his gifts at X-mass or a birthday. ( and today is my 43th birthday )
  7. It's a nice collection. I only find it a little bit strange to see those small bars in those round capsules. Just a pity that I can not see the 2 coins that are in tne boxes, they will be specials ...
  8. I'm certainly going to read the info what is in the link, thx for it ! And loving your Coq/ Roosters coins, I see you have a lot of different years. I have more Roosters but less years ...
  9. Sure, sent me a PM and I will sent the link to you.
  10. Because this guy is crazy and I don't want a lawsuit from him ...
  11. A big Belgian bullion dealer, in my eyes the biggest scumbag on this earth ...
  12. In my eyes this dealer is a scumbag but he is one of the biggest in Belgium, therefore I wanted to ask it here to be certain. Pawnshops we do not really have but LMU coins are bought by the dealers that I know around -1%Spott price. I like the French Coq LMU coins, it are the only ones I have.
  13. Thx a lot for the answer. That will probably be the reason indeed. For me a strange reason because it makes this coin more unique, so I would think it would be more collectable but now I know why.
  14. Sorry I ask it again, but I think this is the best topic for it because of all the Panda love and knowledge: "Why is the 2015 Panda still plenty available at webshops for a low price ? They made too many that year or what reason is there ? "
  15. No, one in Belgium. A big one, but one I don't trust at all and were I will never buy anything.
  16. I read on the website of a bullion dealer that the old Latin Union coins are bad investments. I like them, a nice format, low premiums and the French Coq has a very nice design. So what do you guys think ? Still a good buy or better to leave them and buy more modern coins like Krugerands ?
  17. A great collection, nice to watch them all and read your story. I also collect them but only started in 2013. Maybe a strange question but one that you probably know an answer on: why is the 2015 coin still available in many (web)shops and still at a cheap price ??
  18. Hello, I'm Paul, a guy in his 40's living in Belgium. A country that sucks most of the time except for precious metals. I came along this forum by watching the video's of BackyardBullion. I hope to start selling some of my silver coins I bought years and years ago because my future goals is to have a more standardized collection/ stack with only a few special pieces. Hope to learn a lot on this forum.
