i did not get any email from them and my order is in progress!

It'll say in progress and stay in open orders until they dispatch it. Then it'll move to closed orders with a tracking number provided. Sometimes they send you an email saying its on its way and give you the tracking number and Sometimes they keep it a secret and don't tell you so you don't realise until you look one day and see its moved to closed orders lol. They're a strange mob at the mint at times.

Yep, I think the proof will be the same as the SOTD matte one too, fingers crossed because I missed out on that one!

You'd think they would milk it and get a standard annual proof set out too, but there is so much coming out of the RM not sure if they will have capacity

If they wanted to they'd forget about capacity and just deliver on them later like they seem to do with other stuff. I hope they don't milk if too much because it will water down the appeal of them. I'd like it if the only do a privy mark on the bullion and kept the exclusivity on the proofs and commemorative. It might sound a bit unfair I guess but I think it would keep the interest for the proofs.

Sounds like coronation sovereign proof sets are coming in June - anyone know about the design - St Geoerge and the dragon with a crowned king Charles?

Feels like a special design on both sides of the coin would be overkill - don't think there has been a new proclamation?

I would expect the same design on the proof as on the SOTD to be honest. The bullion may have the same again or might just have a privy mark. The bullion is the only one I think that might be different in that regard but that's only a guess.

can someone smart explain me why on Ebay there's an auction for a Coronation sotd sovereign with a current winning offer of 1832 gbp (and still 6 days to go...) while other Coronation sotds with a buy now option at 1750 gbp are still there since tuesdays?

what is the point of that?

Can't fix stupid mate.... some people are just that dumb 🤣🤣

Had ordered a SOTD Sovereign on monday and the good people at the RM emailed me today to say the order had been cancelled. No reason given 🤨

If anyone on here has bought a few with the view to flip please contact me by pm.

    Ungraded and as they come.

    Cheers AaaGee

Did you have a conformation email and order number sent to you after you bought it?

Considering ordering a couple of silver proof 50p at £60 each, but will they really increase much in value? It’s not something I know much about unfortunately

If you like them then buy them... I'd say the 1oz silver will always be a popular coin and in time will probably do well. At £60 a pop though for the 50ps it's worth a punt. Can't see them doing badly but I'm not really a silver proof kinda person. These are a truly special occasion though so I got a couple. Most important thing .... get what you like most and suits you best.

Wonderful addition to the series! The 2022 USS Constitution. Courtesy of Silvertrader.

These are absolutely stunning in hand.

Just wish I had the bottle to take them out of the OMP 🙈

If you can get some nice airtight black ring capsules then go for it.... those plastic pouch things can damage coins I've heard. Just my opinion but others might disagree
