I hadn't even thought about buying proofs in my early questions, I was always intending to buy bullion 1/4 gold's and some silver, but after reading this thread and hearing what people with far more knowledge than me had to say, I became interested in its potential.
I just popped onto Royal Mints website, and it still let me buy 1 x 1oz silver 10 series (for me!) and 3 x bunc 10 series (for kids!).
I've had e mail confirmation, says shipping mid October, and like everyone else, 5 quid postage only taken initially.
Just in case anyone assumed nothing available. 
Unless of course, it goes wrong in the mean time🤣.

Not necessarily put me off but definitely smacked me around the chops and knocked my rosy glasses off!! There was my vision of The Royal Mint pandering to my every whim as I perused their new offerings sipping on champagne...
It was supposed to be a bit of fun collecting for my kids' futures, I'm not sure I want to get my old gumshield out scrapping for the odd panther of whatever colour.
I will look tomorrow with eyes open and see what's going on!

To be fair, I do have a few of the QBs in 2 and 10 Oz silver but picked these up after the event so to speak. I suppose my original question arose because you do still see some/plenty of the later QBs on lots of bullion websites, (the greyhound 1oz and 1/4 Oz gold are all over the place plus the new 10oz silver and 1oz platinum)  so wasn't necessarily expecting there to be a sell out in the morning with no chance of getting hold of some over the next few weeks. 
We'll see how it plays out, and fyi, if that panther design is true my initial reaction would be to prefer the QBs style, but the simplistic, almost cartoony (He man😂) KBs style might grow on me in time.

Thanks for your concern but if anything you did me a favour by drawing my attention to the fact that people were choosing numbers, although I didn't understand how. Also thanks for offering but yours weren't the numbers and I wouldn't want to take it off anyone anyway. It was my mistake not finding the thread, pure and simple, I just wasn't aware of it at the time. All is good guys, let's leave this now, I'm happy with my bar and look forward to locating the threads for the 3 and 5oz rounds soon😂. 

It's fine really. I just didn't know what was going on at the time as I didn't know about the thread. No big deal in the grand scheme of things. My mistake. Will learn and move on. Peace and unicorns all round🦄
