Capsules.......... like a pair of socks shoved down your pants to make your stack look bigger than it really is  🤣

I've heard of the sock trick, but never heard of someone using a pair before.

    Personally, capsules for everything.

I am a custodian, not an owner, and as such wish to preserve condition for the next owner(s)

    Best

My loose best price sovereigns are in a vitamin C tube at the front of the safe deposit box

Plastic NGC PF70 coffins take up too much safe deposit real estate for my liking :( so only big bits are allowed in mine, five sov or 2oz gold

I nearly did this, got the vitamin tube, washed thoroughly and allowed to air dry for a week. Put 2 sovereigns in and bottled it 😆 🤣

Capsules for Mint state sovs and proofs, tubes for old circulated sovs. As long as they aren't being jangled about every day lol.

Yeah unfortunately the majority of mine are modern copper shiny discs, so tubes are out. Although if premium continues to be non existing, I'm going to turn them all into clangers and store in the tumble dryer.

Thanks for all your thoughts. Feels like a bit of a risky first deal for me, as it doesn’t sound like he has the best reputation. Think I’ll keep looking

Take up the £1 trial membership offer on here, then hit the UK ungraded section, you will find some bargains from reputable sellers ( you can easily check their feedback)

I tried to purchase from his website. I have never seen him advertise on the forum, but I could have missed something.

Yeah I'm thinking of @allgoldcoins ( who seemed decent, that's why I was confused)

All true what I wrote and even had a discussion with another member about this at the time.   It is just pure greed. The coins were listed at said price for over three months,  gold rises and suddenly he is not happy to accept the prices that he had listed on his site.   If he can not be bothered to update his site, that is his problem and should not be the costumer.

    Are they on here?
