  1. Just received a 2024 1/10 oz Niue Gold Phoenix Proof Like Coin. These coins had a production number of 10,000 pieces. Pictured below is a 1oz version of the coin also limited to 10,000. I'm sure glad I pulled the trigger on the 1/10th when I did cause after checking eBay along with a google search today, they are completely sold out here in the US. I have the 1 oz version on my radar just need to muster up the courage to buy one. Very tempting due to really liking the design, proof like field and frosted relief makes for an attractive gold coin imo.
  2. I love the wear and patina on this one, they give it such great character given it's age imo.
  3. So you know, if you can remember, since at the moment I'm limited to just likes, anytime I give you or any one a "Like" on any coins etc.. it's actually a "Love" as I only respond to those coins etc.. that I love and I gotta say this 1oz Gold Britannia has such a very lovely portrait and what it represents to you is heartwarming.
  4. Gotta love this coin. I should be ever so fortunate to have one of these in my collection. 😏
  5. Would of given it a super like but I don't have the means at the moment but I must say I sure am envious and thanks for the heads up as well. I'm sure many would agree including I when you say worth every penny. 🙂
  6. Thank you so very much, I do appreciate it! 😉 That sure is a truly divine coin. 🙂
  7. Since I'm limited to just "likes" at the moment lol, I actually super like this 2008 commemorative. I love the glorious design! Absolutely beautiful coin.
  8. What is this one? It's absolutely stunning!
  9. Thank you for the kind words. Much appreciated!
  10. I received it ungraded from a well known reputable dealer here in the US but I'm having a hard time parting with it to send it out to NGC lol although I will eventually. For now I put it in a common slab/holder.
  11. Thank you. In person looking at it in it's actual size, there are no dark area's but has a even color all around and a complete smoother texture. In a bright close up view, it seemed to accentuate certain area's.
  12. Here's a Gold coin I recently acquired to add to my collection. The coin is from the Eastern Roman Empire dated AD 457-474 from the Constantinople Mint. The obverse depicts Roman Emperor Leo I and the reverse portrays Victoria who was the Goddess Of Victory in both war and peace. This Solidus was a highly pure solid 24k Gold coin issued in the later Roman Empire weighing in at 4.45 grams and 20mm in diameter. The solidus was the main gold coin of commerce during late Roman times and this particular coin was also handed out by the late Emperor to Roman soldiers for 1 months pay as well. The meaning of SOLIDUS is an ancient Roman gold coin introduced by Constantine (4th century) and used to the fall of the Byzantine Empire (15th century). This is my first Gold coin purchased and imo, for myself I couldn't of picked a better one to start off my Gold coin collection.
